What is the likelihood of me getting an Uber to King Shaka airport at 04h30 on a weekday morning in Ballito? Are there drivers around at that hour?

If so, then you will get a driver. The guys might sleep somewhere in the car and when the phone dings them they will wake up and pick you up.

I'm in Johburg and I had to get an Uber at 4:15am the other day and I got a driver that was just finishing his shift...

I think so - the Dolphin coast is listed as part of the Durban route. I'm just not sure if there are as many drivers tugging at the carcass there.

I don't see it being an issue... I've used uber at all sorts of strange times and there has always been a driver available.

Not many ubers in Ballito at normal hours.. So the chance of finding one at 4:30 is slim in my honest opinion

I know of 2 Uber vehicles which are based in Ballito. There might be more...

I have no idea of "operational hours".
