Uninstalled uber and mr D a few months ago. Food arrives ice cold and scrambled unless you pay the blackmail. Rather just buy a crap load and freeze, you’ll have to microwave the uber junk in any case so same same. I am never using food delivery services again.

Pro tip: keep snacks in the house for when you’re too wasted to drive.
Just get a Philips airfryer.

Honestly it's a waste of money, I've tested it and the driver still waits at the restaurant for all other orders on their route to be finished so you still get cold food.

Not sure I'll use them again. I recently ordered a rack of ribs and chips from a local grillhouse and up until this most recent delivery, their stuff has been good. But when this latest order got delivered, the chips were hard and cold and the ribs were not far behind. Before, the driver has usually been in a car or on a motorbike but this time, the guy rocked up on one of those electronic bicycles. While a cheap transport solution, it is undoubtedly slower and, throw in multiple stops, means your food is going to arrive almost unedible.

In theory, those could be faster. Seeing as they don't have to stick to roads and can take pavements etc. Where I lived, all the take-aways were on the other side of a big park, and all the complexes on our side. If you took a bike or a car you have to drive at least 7km. If the drivers had e-bikes that oculd be cut down to 1.4km through the park.

However, that park had a reputation, so I suppose they wouldn't have wanted to risk their bikes/lives to get us our food faster, which I understand.

lol. I think the idea of "boosting" your delivery with priority speed is an interesting one. And its only R12 more.
Leave me and my source of coffee deliveries alone Shauny! :)

Unless you want coffee, then we can have.

OK, so lesson learned .... do not order pizza from Uber Eats when it's raining.... unless you really like soggy pizza.
