Uber Vouchers

Since uber changed their credit system, all you need to do is get people to sign up with your promo code to get free rides.

How it works
1. Tell your friends to sign up with your code- their first ride’s FREE
2. After their trip, your next ride is FREE

Up to 20km and R150

My code: judes33 :P

Problem is, if you create an Uber account before using it.. its not free*. On the brightside Discovery Insure & Card users get a % off :D

Discovery and Uber teamed up to do a Free* flu Vaccination on the 22 May 2015. [* its free for Discovery Card holders with Vitality, else R100]

Sadly its only in parts of Cpt, Dbn and Jhb. No Pta :(

I'm not sure I like the idea that Discovery is giving out my information like that. I received an email from Uber today, notifying me of special discount for Discovery members.

Hrm I dunno, I get a nice % with disc card, thinking of going disc insure for gautrain and uber discounts

AFAIK, you get 10% cash back with Discovery and 15% ebucks on FNB (Level 5). But remember, Level 4 (7.5%) gets 30% discounts on things like Makro vouchers. So a R200.00 trip gets :

Discovery : R20 cash back
FNB Level 5 : R30.00 ebucks (and a further 40% if buying vouchers, so R50 Makro voucher etc)
FNB Level 4 : R15.00 ebucks (and a further 30% if buying vouchers, so R21ish Makro voucher etc)

So level 4 FNB and Discovery are very close, but if Level 5 ... definately go FNB

I work that out to a R50 voucher.

R200 x 0.15 x 10 / 6

You're right - bad maths.

Now you've quoted the post for everyone to get inaccurate info from me ;)
