hda intel (alc272 analog) does not work falling back to pulseaudio

No I'm serious, sure if you plan to use the default theme and use the limited customization of windows it's not a problem but when you want a custom theme you first need to hunt around for a uxtheme patch then a them you like and after finally getting the uxtheme to install you'll need to move the theme into the correct system folder just to find outthe theme is not as good as the preview and then need to search around for another theme.

I've been doing it for years so I know it well enough :p

With Ubuntu you have a wide variety of themes available just by adding repos and installing via synaptic.

Yeah cairo dock is buggy which is why I recommended avant. ;)
 
Is it possible to load own pics as background pictures on Ubuntu 9.04?

If how do I do this?

There is a download link to the Novell client for Linux. It seems to be mainly for SLED (Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop).

The files that you download is in ISO format, so it should be simple enough to mount. Installing it might be another matter all together.
