are there any noticeable advantages that the 64bit version has over the 32bit

Well I generally find the 64bit versions to be a bit more snappy and responsive.

There is no reason to use a 32bit version of Ubuntu if you have a 64bit processor. The problems with 64bit flash and what not are a thing of the past.

I will probably download 10.10 at some stage, since I mucked up my last Ubuntu install by accident haha.

Dammit!! 150MB done and the server resets. :(

What's a good torrent downloader to use? Does Ubuntu's built-in one still work?

do you guys know of a good password manager for linux?
KeePass
KeePass is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish). For more information, see the features page.

Is it really free?
Yes, KeePass is really free, and more than that: it is open source (OSI certified). You can have a look at its full source and check whether the encryption algorithms are implemented correctly.

As a cryptography and computer security expert, I have never understood the current fuss about the open source software movement. In the cryptography world, we consider open source necessary for good security; we have for decades. Public security is always more secure than proprietary security. It's true for cryptographic algorithms, security protocols, and security source code. For us, open source isn't just a business model; it's smart engineering practice.Bruce Schneier, Crypto-Gram 1999/09/15

They released it at 10:10:10 (GMT) precisely, which is awesome.

I see, that local torrent site, Diginova, have a redone theme header and a thread with all the local download links just for the release of Ubuntu 10.10. Which is kinda cool :)
