Has anybody applied for UIF online this year? I submitted U19 and Salary schedule and chose NO to are you registered as a work seeker, it got rejected in 5 days with no reason. I applied again with the same thing, got called by someone from labour department saying i need to say yes to are you a work seeker. Yet all my colleagues who got retrenched with me chose no as well but theirs was approved? so is it required or not, why are the rules different for everyone? Now my application wasn't rejected this time so i cant even apply again and choose yes.

Follow up, phone here they, quick to answer : 08000 30007 and ask them why it got rejected - going to the Labour Centre is your last resort.

As far as I know, it never got rejected, I suspect nothing was done as they were i the middle of whatever fight they were having with a supplier relating to their online services. There is now no history of my application of applying for UIF and I am not interested in wasting my time and energy fighting an inept organisation which will simply tell me that since I now have a job all is good while I should have been paid UIF for around 5 months.

I just go paid, not even 4k wtf...was earning 50k+ and paying for over 12 years for UIF and i get a measly 3.9k ..such a joke...at least i didnt have to go in.

you have to choose work seeker, but what retarded system allows you to continue the application when yes is a requirement..and the wording asks if you applied to be a work seeker...so im gonna choose no obviously because i didnt apply and then u sit not knowing wtf is going on because you chose no.
