Anyone use these and if it works well for you, can you recommend one?

Or how do you clean your glasses?

Been wearing spectacles for last 30 years and I am very confused at this question. What is it that troubles you ? Do you perhaps have some fancy pants glasses that seem to smudge everyday ? Cheap old style glasses are best, I tell ya.

I wash them with handwash soap every now and then and dry it with soft tissue paper/some old soft t-shirt cloth.

I got a really nice glasses cloth from spec savers, big and a little thicker than the typical ones you get..

I use that cloth, nothing else to clean my glasses and I always rinse the lenses under running water if there's heavy dirt or been some place a bit dusty before using the cloth..

Have never needed anything else for the last 25 years wearing glasses..

Ultra fine microfibre cloths. Good for keeping your monitors, tv and glasses clean and they last for years.

Edit to add a pic.
Two on the left are ultra fine vs the rightmost which is a normal microfibre.

Sorry Bob, I didn't mean to confuse you. I was asking if anyone uses an ultrasonic cleaner, and other than actually asking the question "does anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner?", I'm not quite sure how to ask in a way that would not confuse you

TBF, mine look like that in the emoji. Wayfarer type. But I just seem to be constantly wiping them and unable to get the gritty bits from where the glass meets the plastic frame. So, I thought a deep clean would be best, hence the question about these ultrasonic cleaner type things.

Glad the second part of the question wasn't too confusing :p

Also been looking at this but been reluctant to take the plunge.

My optometrist uses one but I suspect that's industrial grade level and probably costs a few grand but it definitely works and gets rid of all the stuff that goes into the edges that the cloth puts there in the first place.

What I do once a month or so is just get in the shower or pool with my glasses on and then clean them properly afterwards which gets me 99% there.

And talking of, how do you clean the cleaning cloth?

i was given one, then re-gifted it without trying the thing.

keep in mind they only clean - not dry
the drying bit is critical, any dirt on a drying cloth and you are back to the beginning !

i keep some of those small sealed medical swabs (used for injections - isopropyl alcohol) ) in the cars and office.
they come in small boxes, any pharmacy, dirt cheap

I've been looking about and eventually went for this which appears to be on sale. I'll report back after it's delivered next week...
