Hi all,

I can't login to gmail (http://gmail.com) via Vodacom GPRS on my Sony Ericsson.

Gmail mobile app. doesn't login either (says "Check network connection").

I think my settings are fine, as I can login to mxit, and browse WAP sites.

With Facebook mobile, I need to select "login via http" on the mobile site, else it does not login.

I have tried changing my WAP profile to use the proxy, but without the proxy , gmail.com does not load at all.

any ideas?

When did you last test? We had a problem that could have caused this, but it was resolved yesterday.

Can you re-test and revert? Also, what handset is this?

Using a Sony Ericsson W810i.

Tested now, Proxy set to 196.006.128.012, error message : "something is wrong with the page you tried to access, choose another link" for http://gmail.com and http://m.gmail.com

With the proxy off, it shows the hourglass for a few seconds , but nothing happens.
