Hello,

I am having a problem connecting using a pre-paid sim (32k).

Area: Edenvale ext. 1

Mobile: 0763020435
IMEI: 35693600215432

+CREG: 2,1,"0060","3833"

+CSQ: 11,99

ati
Manufacturer: Option N.V.
Model: GlobeTrotter 3G+
Revision: 3.17.0Hd (Date: Apr 11 2006, Time: 13:19:33)

at+cops?
+COPS: 0,0,"VodaCom-SA",2

I have tried with a GlobeTrotter 3G+ and a Huawei E220 and always get the same result: RAS 619.

This was working on the 28th of September, can't remember at what time it stopped working.

There's 0.01MB left in my data bundle and my available balance is enough for a 2Gig bundle. Unfortunately I can't connect to use up the remainder so I can by a new bundle.

I'm currently connected using a contract sim via the E220 which always connects on the first attempt.

I have the debug output for ppp in Linux for the pre-paid and contract connections. I can include it if anybody thinks it might be useful.

I tried using the sim in a phone, but if I try to request settings via *111# I get errors saying the service is not available. If I send the settings via v4me, they never arrive. So I could not test the sim in a phone.

Best regards

Give 155 a call and tell them you're 'stuck' with a bundle with less than the minimum of 500KB of data. Ask them to 'reset' it for you. If they don't know what you're talking about insist to talk to someone who does.....;)

Ha, had the same problem and had to recharge to get my 2gig bundle working.
After 4 calls nobody could help me and i used R15 up because the bundle didnt "kick in".
Why does the call agents not know anything when you are so clued up?
And why did I have to sort this problem out by myself?
Although my lost airtime was credited, i didnt get compensation for the four days my bundle didnt work, even though they gave me a reference number and promised to.
THOSE AGENTS NEED TRAINING!
