Hey guys i currently have a 4mb line from telkom.

I want to change my line to another isp as well as get 4mbps uncapped.

I want something that is affordable and allows me to download large amounts without being throttled\shaped.

I know there's already a lot of threads on this I just wanted to get your guys suggestions.

Also how does the transfer of the line happen? how long does it take? and do I loose connectivity for a certain period?

if you transfer your line, you do not loose connectivity

takes about 2 weeks or less.

The isp will handle the transfer etc.

Mweb has a good uncapped package with line rental for R899 , for 4mps.

1. Rather leave your line with Telkom. You'll thank me later.

2. If you want to download a lot with being throttled or shaped you need MWEB's internet addict account at R1999 per month.

3. If you want something affordable, but decent, get GOLD:

Wasn't able to change my account yet so will change the end of this month. But I dont think i can afford that gonna have to downgrade my line to 1mb :(

Well how much are you looking to download if its between 100 to 180 gig 1mb is fine for you. If more a 4meg line would be needed.
