Uncapped Android

Hi,

This is my first post here. I need to ask someone with more knowledge and experience.
Is it possible for uncapped 3G on an android device? According to this article it is possible by modifying the usage meter of the phone self. They say that it works in the US and I wont to know if there is someone who has tried it in SA? Will I be able to get uncapped data on my Samsung Galaxy S2 on a Vodacom contract?

Data is measured with their network devices and not your phones data counter..
