Looks like not much interest in this lol

Yeah, surprising!

I've been watching. Baby Boks are such a frustrating team to watch but I find that to be the case every bloody year! So much talent, so poorly coached!!

England looking good as are NZ and Wales.

Yeh I'm also watching it, but again surprised at the lack of interest. I reckon the fact that it's being played in Georgia, might also be playing a part.

It has always been quite a poorly promoted competition in SA. I love it! The most accurate barometer of a nations strength and potential.

So we play Argentina on Thursday. Should be another close encounter.

Gees Baby Boks came to play today!! 72-14 they just whipped Argentina!! Amazing game. Dominant in every facet except phase play!! Great game to watch if you a Saffer!! Through to the Semi's, probably Australia...

Ah brilliant! Definitely looking forward to the highlights later.

Good to hear. Hopefully we'll reach our peak at the right time

Mmmmm, sorry Mortymoose, no ideas....

Anyway, let's hope the BB can bring some continuity and rhythm to their play. English defense won't be as easy to purge off of set piece and/or single phase play.

Yeah, stupid no look pass from Bosch inside his own 22, wasn't cleanly taken by Libbok. Scrum down England and from the ensuing pressure they scored. Libbok has had 3 touches of the ball and failed on every occasion. He's having a mare!! BB getting mauled at the breakdowns. Conceding penalty after penalty when in possession for not releasing or going off their feet.

Not looking good. Technically poor from BB, they not playing the ref very well at this point, but I expect the English to wilt in the last 20 of the game on account of their tough pool game against OZ the other day. Let's hope the Boks can capitalize.

One area they doing very well is the lineouts. Won 2 English lineouts so far. Getting pinged in the scrums though. 2 Penalties conceded there already.

More impulsive and stupid rugby from BB. BB Scrum just inside England half, they put pressure and get a penalty. Papier takes a quick one and mistimes his pass, causing the supporting player to knock on, England counter and kick into the BB 22 and into the corner where Libbok gathers but is bundled into touch. Attacking lineout England ball.

Need to start treating this game as a Semi final, take points when they on offer and cut out the 50/50 passes.

England on attack but knock on, scrum BB inside their own 22. Good scrum and BB get penalty. England already seem to be battling for parity in the forward exchanges. It's a hot day and they seem to be taking a bit of strain, 32 minutes played in the 1st half. BB need to make these small victories count, still 17-7 down.

BB get attacking lineout just inside the England half. Take the ball through 2 phases and then Papier kicks a nothing up and under, England collect just outside their 22 and launch an attack of 7 phases, net result a defensive lineout to the BB just 5 metres out from their tryline. Again poor option taking from the BB 9, giving possession away far too easily. English way more structured, looking after the ball, maintaining possession and attacking with greater accuracy and control.

BB maul England in the scrums once again, they get a penalty about 15 metres inside their own half and Bosch punts a beauty giving the BB an attacking lineout just outside the English 22. The lineout is won and its 8 phases of pick and drives and the BB get their 2nd try!! Not pretty but effective! 17-12 with the conversion to come. Curwin misses the conversion and it's halftime! He's miffed with himself. By his standards it wasn't a difficult kick.
