Unexpected Pregnancy

I see no one has considered that fact that if the OP had abstained from sex altogether, he would never have this problem. I see no reason why people are even prepared to take a life yet they knew having sex is meant for procreation not simply a pleasurable experience. So I am saying that complaining about it is pointless as you reap what you sow, for both future parents.

Strange concept.
But I think you got it backwards.
I'd go with : sex is meant to be a pleasurable experience, not just for procreation.

Which is fine if you know that you can deal with the consequences. Before people have unprotected sex they should maybe consider that it might bring a little human into the world. Even having protected sex, you should know there could be consequences.

My logic? That's YOUR logic! :wtf:

You do not consider a a fetus an independent being unless it breathes.

its not independent. Where did you get this idea from ?

As for question of when life starts in the womb, it is the day the egg is fertilised and it becomes a zygote. That is from a physiological point of view

Oh go fsck yourself, sex is mostly for pleasure, yes pleasure!!!

that has got to be the most ridiculous thing i have read. no birth control is 100%. it is a known fact that women have fallen pregnant when they've had their tubes tied or their husbands have had vasectomies. the pill, IUD, condom are not 100% pregnancy safe. you can still fall pregnant while taking precautions.

Between her being on the pill, him using a condom and possibly adding a semblance of ovulation timing to the mix it's pretty damn near impossible.

Each party should be accountable for their own contraception. If you weren't on the pill and fall pregnant, or if he wasn't wearing a condom and she falls pregnant it's only your own fault.

Yes it's not 100% certain, but it's pretty damn close and considering due diligence from both parties near impossible.
