Unity promises to walk back controversial game engine pricing change

No, you can't trust them... but atleast now its in writing that new terms/prices are for new project on new engine, so, legally, you could have something to stand on should they try to retro apply it again

My project was still mostly in blender. I am trying to make it look really good because it is not going to be a big game. I have to say me and blender is getting a long now. But I so wish Autodesk Maya was still available to me. It is so much easier then Blender.

That said I think it would be foolish to trust any gaming engine moving forward. I will continue to use them but I will more experimental. I would for example keep Godot and continue to update and play with it and learn it. Unreal can pull a Unity stunt just as easily as Unity did.
