Vodacom is looking at offering services such as unlimited messaging, and unlimited social network usage to complement its smaller data bundles.

This is according to Phil Patel, chief consumer officer at Vodacom, who was answering questions about how the network plans to respond to Cell C and 8ta offering unlimited BBM with their BlackBerry Z10 contracts.

Why not respond to 8ta's 10GB + 2 + 1?

Back in Jul/Aug 2012 MyBB gave them coverage for the cheaper BIS packages ... that might have retained Vodacom some customers who might have had contracts up for renewal. It was all fluff though, and I was more p155ed at MyBB for the coverage of what was a non event.
