Unlock foreign card

Is it possible to get a foreign data card (Option FUSION from Orange UK) unlocked by Vodacom? (or even unlocked at all...)

I've phoned the Vodacom walk in centre at Canal Walk, and been referred around to at least 4 different numbers, before being referred back to the walk in centre :-(

Only the original supplier (i.e. network) can unlock the card.....

Try to download firmware' card from www.vodafone.de

Try taking it to a private, non-network cellphone shop, they can usually unlock all phones, I'm not sure about data cards though.

Tried both of the above

I've tried both of the above.

I've re flashed, already, and asked independent shops. It seems that only the original network can do it.

And they won't do it without charging the original owner GBP 20.
