UnoDNS dns not working on MWEB

Anyone having problems with MWEB. I think they have disabled the DNS's from UNOtelly. My roku was working fine all the while, but since 3 weeks ago, i've noticed that when i change my DNS settings in the modem to the ones prescribed on the unotelly site, my internet and everything stops working. :cry::cry:

Does anyone know a work around for this?:D

Otherwise, i've just wasted R2000 on a roku :(:confused::(:cry::cry:
 
nope I have the ASUS RT-AC68U. oh and a Dlink for the dial up. So no FON router.

You can always change ISP
 
Well I've tried using the joburg and the CT servers thinking that they will be the fastest. I had the primary one set to joburg and the secondary as CT.

I havent yet tried the others? Will do and get back to you..
 
Can you ping their DNS servers?

What happens if you try a nslookup against their DNS servers?

The 1 Unotely DNS server is hosted in the cape town mweb datacenter ..... I think its something on your side ....
 
try smartDNS, it free. That will help you pin point the problem. (I'm using it with no issues on my Roku, watching Netflix)
 
Thanks a mil guys. the London DNS seems to be working for now. I might just give smartdnsproxy a try :)
