One does not simply abandon a corrupt scheme designed to extract blood money from unwilling motorists..

I recon the main corrupt & tenderpreneurs got their cut upfront, but the issue for current lot is the payback for their share isn't happening due to the success of civil disobedience. Double whammy is government will now provide the shortfall i.e. no way to intercept & skim the cream off the top. Incidently exactly why we wanted an additional fuel levy to pay for this, and why they were so hell-bent on not going that route.

At this point they've lost the e-toll battle. They will have to find another way to fund it.
Yes our taxes will pay for it, but slowly they must come to a realization the honey pot is running dry.
