I started a new job in December.
My boss's brothers friend, family friend, pops in all the time,
Its just myself, and my bosses PA (and the boss), but the PA doesnt work closely with me,
I work closely with my boss.

Anyway so now my bosses brother is overseas but the friend always comes around and visits, he flirts with me a lot, and he actually lives in a townhouse right next door so its like I can never escape this guy.

I feel like he waits for my boss to go out, and then he suddenly arrives, oh where's Jo-Anne? meanwhile, u know she outs you moron, you would have heard her car.

Thats the other thing, I have to park my car in his garden, I have a key for the gate, but sometimes he parks me in, when theres plenty of space to park next to my car.

So of course, I have to go and knock on his door, and ask him to move and its almost as if he is waiting to like invite me in or something, so usually I just use the landline to call him so he doesnt get my number. He of course finds this incredinly itneresting that I phone him off of the landline next door instead of knocking on his door and talkinf to him face to face.

I am the type of girl who has been raised to be kind and polite to everyone.
Im not cheeky or bitchy or anything like that, and when i first met him, I was nice to him. I was polite to him, now he thinks I want him. Which i certainly do not.

My bosses PA came and spoke to me 2 days ago, she said.. we need to talk,
she says that this guy told her that he "is going to have me very soon" and that i always go blood red whenever he speaks to me - thats how I flirt with him apparently. which is the biggest load of rubbish.


She told me that he tries to sleep with everything that moves - with no success, and its best that I just make it very clear to him that I am not interested in no shape way or form.

She told me that he tried things with her and she made it clear to him that she was not interested and apparently he got very ugly, and they had a big fight.

Now I want to avoid any kind of conflict, but the way he speaks to me makes me really uncomfortable. Its not like outlandish statements or something like that, but he always asks me why I look so mad, and im not at all? Im actually smiling at something I just read or something like that, he is so odd.

The PA told him I have a great boyfriend which I do, and told him we've been together 2 years and he should back off. So he told her he's going to get me to cheat on my boyfriend. In his wildest dreams.

I dont know whether its more just being a big mouth to this PA not realising she would actually comes and tell me, or whether I should really say something or what.

I am just worried he'll make my working there very uncomfortable if I do say something because I dont think he is 100% right upstairs, im not sure.

I tried being rude to him once, and it just doesnt work. Im just too nice :(

What should I do? How should I handle this.
 
Tell your bf :D He should be able to quickly resolve this. Boys communicate this better than girls.
 
Speak to your boss. You have a right to a decent work environment, as stated in the basic conditions of employment.
 
wizard. haha, i thought about it but then I thought guys tend to swing first and chat about it afterwards so not really the best thing in this situation where my job is sorta involved.

Not sure...the guy sounds like a douche.Just talk about how amazing your bf is. (Maybe wear a ring lol).

Yeah, make every conversation about how orsm your bf is :D Korn1 has some good pacifist advice there.

My wife lets me know when a guy is being too much though, already had to deal with one stalker :( Its not so great hiding this kinda stuff is it?

Mike - my boss is amused by him. she thinks he is a moron but its kind of like a brother sister relationship.
She goes overseas every now and then and then he house sits and stuff so its like a very tight relationship but at the same time she would probably think im being pathetic if I had to say something because she knows he is weird.

Its just im not the type to just let something slide off my back, i worry about it and stuff. and its a big deal to me.
Just not sure how my boss will take it, and whether she'll tell him or not, which i think she would.
 
Enjoy the attention while it lasts. When you're 65 you'll look back at this with fondness

i wish i could just be like that, and just say something arb like im pregnant. but in the moment i take it seriously, too seriously, another girl would be like, im blushing out of emabarrasment for you.
or just be a total bitch, and then he'd run away and cry. but im not like that and this is why im battling with this situation.
 
Can you move your car please, I need to go the clinic to get my ARV's.
 
Put the car somewhere else,give the gate key back to your boss who'll probably ask why

spit in his coffee, and give him a coupon for chlamydia, take up tobacco chewing then you nxt time he parks you in just drive into his car likes its not there.

To hell with what she thinks, the law is very clear about employers providing a decent working environment. I'm sure she'll quickly change her mind at the mere mention of sexual harassment in the workplace seeing that he is allowed by her onto the property.
