unwanted attention...

You just need to be straight with him. Quit faking that he doesn't bother you. He sounds like an idiot that needs things to be made obvious for him.

In line with some of the other (hilarious) comments in this thread, borrow money from him a few times and don't pay it back.

Alternative 1) First tell him to stop, and if he doesn't, then tell your boyfriend to stop it.
Alternative 2) First tell him to stop, and if he doesn't, then tell your boss to stop it.

Helghast,
My boyfriend doesnt know much. He doesnt take this kind of thing lightly,
im just trying to think of the bigger picture.

I thought everything was fine.. I was just being like hi bye with him, minimal conversation, then he'd say something weird and be like oh look u blushing, i'd try to outplay his funny games with the parking me in etc,
until the other day when I heard that stuff from my bosses PA.

Now im not sure where to go from here.

ah why do i have to have such a douche in my life.

Get your boyfriend to drive you to work and park your car in his yard in view of this idiot.A friend could then pick up your boyfriend and take him where ever??

Speak to your boss. You have a right to a decent work environment, as stated in the basic conditions of employment.

Do this.

Or when he walks in tell him you are just on your way out to get a refill on your rash ointment.

try any or all of the following :

.sorry sweetness my BF is my night in shinning armour
.i don't have the time & you don't have the money
.you're of no importance or conciquince to me
.when he enters the room pick up the phone & call a supplier - start an important call. He has to respect that work is important
.talk about having had a sexchange before

Start telling him about things you did with your boyfriend, like went to this cool restaurant, had a nice braai at his parents house - it will start cheezing him off and he will get the picture. Even tell him you're starting to think of buying a house together. That should be some ice water in his face.

If the guy wants to be a ****, so can you. Sort him out.

You need to be a bitch, plain and simple. If you cant stand up for yourself, and what you want, you'll get walked all over. Dont let this guy get to you.

EDIT: Or, let your bf sort it out. Guys like this sometimes need a bit of a scare, so they realize its not okay to be a creep. Dont let him get away with being a creep and making you feel weird. There have to be consequences for negative behaviour.

It's hard but I think you'll just have to pull him aside and tell him that he makes you feel uncomfortable with his comments. That you are happy in a committed relationship. Maybe through in some religious dogma...saving yourself, you're worried about him getting stds and he should join your prayer group :D

If you do not have the self-confidence to tell him to back off, then just talk about your BF all the time. ALL THE TIME.

Scarlett ... ask him if he's come out of the closet yet. If he asks why you think he's gay, tell him it's the vibe you get because he's spending so much time with girls who are in relationships.

Otherwise name and shame him on here. Slummies is a VERY small place and a couple of us can make him feel like a tit. I have very little time for idiots who treat girls like meat and walk around with this selborne sense of entitlement thinking every panty out there wants them.

Unfortunately in small business environments bosses do take complaints personally instead of just manning up and dealing with the actual matter at hand, so you don't want to cause vibes for yourself either. If anything tell your boss that this oke is interrupting your work on a daily basis. You'll have to chat to the boss about the parking thing though, that's just not cricket.

Either way good luck.

really? i wish i was a girl, i'd feel better turning him down everyday and every shot he tried rather than thinking that he annoyed me. to think you give this guy psychological nightmares should be amusing :)

he is acting malicious on purpose. he is blocking you in, he is saying things behind your back, he is making an effort to visit you, so i would have hurting his feeligns would have been the better thing by turning him down constantly. he obviously see's you as a challenge and has the go-getter attitude, so you can break him, into little pieces :)

also, i think you should talk to your bf about it. you should be able to, and tell your bf that the only reason you're telling him is because you want to be honest and not let this get complicated, or your bf might interpret this as being a problem and that is why you've kept quiet. i don't think you should keep stuff from him, but i can't really comment on your relationship, i just think that's the healthier way. i'm sure your boyfriend has restraint, and it would be important to explain to him the relationship with the boss and why he HAS to show restraint :)

Still don't see why she needs to confront him at all. After all her boss is the one who allows it.

If you don't hear it from the horse's mouth you may just be stubborn enough to think she doesn't mean it

Hence she needs to confront her boss to put an end to it once and for all, otherwise this dude is just going to keep doing it to whoever starts working there.
