OK, I'd be happy if one of the universities is English and everyone forced to take an Afrikaans course and they have to pass it to get their degree, and it must not be too easy. At each university people must be forced to take such a course in one of the languages to pass, except English obviously.

Interesting, I have been told many times that I should learn the language when I asked for it to be translated. I just respond that I do speak one of the official languages.

You will always get idiots like that though.... but its generally just that an idiotic response because they don't know how else to respond.

I always found in multi-lingual courses there were enough people who didn't understand a specific language, that if you asked for a translation and someone got snotty tell the person to learn the language, they very quickly got put in their place by many other people.

Its not defensiveness ffs... its called being a grown up who doesn't get their granny panties in a knot over every little thing that might upset them...

Its annoying yes, but ask for the translation and move the fek on....

At worst if its the same students that constantly do this... a word with the lecturer about them not being welcome in the lecture/tut would be a start.. if that doesn't yield results then a word with the students directly that if they come into the lecture its English or they shut up and it doesn't have to be a violent word at all.....

Oh and cultural appropriation under the auspices of the SunGod and his Moon Festival... (it may get there at some point so I'm just covering that base in preperation)

No lack of following through your complaints and direct it at those not adhering to it is a concern... Must nicer to fark shyt up I suppose to try and make a statement. Why not protest that the lecturers be held accountable for breaking the class language?

With that noise would that little piece of excrement that attacked him and ran all the way from the back be the only one to hear him say that? The mob in front of him would have been the first to attack.

So what happened to that tweet where the guy was accused of calling people "k@ffirs?, it magically got deleted by the owner of the account. Knowing you you would probably say the account belonged to a white imperialist agent trying to make the 'peaceful; demonstrators look bad.

How about all the other videos showing these barbarians attacking an armlocked chain of people that never posed any violence or the guy that got slapped in the face.

You're no different to these EFF hooligans attacking people & destroying property, you might not do it yourself but you are a big supporter. We need less of your type in this country, the majority of people get along fine but not you.
