Blizzard's Overwatch coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, launches spring 2016

Overwatch, the team-based shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in addition to Windows PC, Blizzard confirmed today. The game, described as Overwatch: Origins Edition in a pre-order promotion on Battle.net, is expected to arrive next spring.

According to the listing, Overwatch will be released sometime before June 21, 2016.

It's not clear yet what the "Origins Edition" designation means, but it could be Blizzard's way of describing the launch version of the game with a roster of characters that grows over time as new content is released. We've reached out to Blizzard for details on its plans for Overwatch.

Thanks, I bought Fallout 4 now for $45, which is similar to Takelot etc. It seems all the local places are sold out of their pre-order copies, and since the disc only contains half the game (or less) I can just as well download the whole thing.

I just want to find out, they sent me an email with the download link, but that takes me to the store page and they say it will be available on or slightly before the launch date. I was hoping to get the steam key so that I can pre download over the weekend. Do I now have to wait until Monday or Tuesday before I can download?
 
After a bit of searching I see they send the pre-order codes 24 to 48 hours before launch. Luckily got the mail this morning and I can start downloading :)

Looks like a 24 GB download so its going to take me 20 hours :( Will at least have it ready on Tuesday.

Yeah I'm still waiting for the Starcraft legacy of the void key, it should be available in the next day or 2.
luckily I Have a 90mb VDSL line in Belgium so downloading it is not a problem for me :)

I'm waiting to see if prices go down however I might buy the game off Takealot and get a friend to email me the key :)

I have some takealot credit and R100 off voucher so I may as well.
I don't think I would have activation issues on Steam and my store is still linked to South Africa :)
I've been in Belgium for 3 months now.
 
Considering the CD keys route for Fallout 4, anyone had any issues with them?

Ubisoft has a history about not giving a fsck about pc games/ports. AC Black Flag is one of the exceptions though.
