Upcoming Games

Yeah that Ubisoft subscription is what they really want people to get instead of spending the once off $120. If they can grab people inside their ecosystem for 6-12 months then they score big time. Lets face it, there are a lot of people that will opt for the cheaper $15. They are banking on the fact that people forget about subs and hopefully grab a good few months worth of $.

I am hopeful about this game especially since it is mostly the guys that did Odyssey which is my favorite AC game.
I also don't care about the black dude, I know why he is in there, but I don't care.
The subscription model works
I subbed to gamepass to try out starfail and still subscribed to this day

Granted it's a lot cheaper and I have played a few other games they offered

What else can Ubisoft offer with that subscription though?
All their other games are already part of gamepass

That is the thing, Gamepass is, imo, great value whereas the Ubisoft not so much unless you want to play the latest AC on day one. If you are wiling to wait a year or two, then you can just grab it on GP.

I think if you are diligent about the once of $15, then I suppose it is worth it. Pay the one month, play the game and make sure you get out. Then I think it is worth it. $15 for a new game, not bad. I did that for Jedi Survivor on EA pass last year. Think it cost me $12 for a months access. Finished the game and buggered off.

Part of the problem is that Yasuke was not a samurai so kinda not historically accurate. ;)

That said pretty sure with current US DEI push that not the only problem it might have, will see when the game comes out if its worth playing or not (Too early to say). For me, it's more about if the game is fun or not. If the DEI push takes away from the game, then I will have an issue.

I have no problem if there is green pink or even gold people in the game or if is factual or not, but for example when you start pushing sexuality in a game that has nothing to do with sex then I can see me going "Nope, im out"
Yasuke (born c. 1550s) was a Black samurai who served the daimyo Oda Nobunaga in Japan during the Sengoku (“Warring States”) period. He was the first known foreigner to achieve samurai status.

?

Lemmings can go eat dick too.

It was friends that convinced me to buy Diablo 4 Ult day 1 and as I said that was the last. Could have picked it up on Steam half price.

Will pick up Shadows for R399 on Steam sale.

This is the clown company that wants to teach you that you do not own your games and calls their infected **** AAAA for crying loud.

So another one then I won't play.

So a game with a black protagonist gets the subtitle Shadows?

I guess it's better than the other AC games with black protags that are named Freedom Cry and Liberation.

Should have called it spook shadows......

This has been done already and I think what most people expected was a full eastern influenced game hence some push back.

Typical same **** every year Ubi that couldn't think up anything original.

And also, the Japanese are saying this game looks Chinese so they couldn't even get the setting right.

And if I remember right both previous games that shared leads hardly ever let you play the female so there is that too. Pointless.
Ex-Ubisoft dev claims tha the original story only had Yasuke as an NPC in a few missions. This probably changed when they asked Sweet Baby Inc to "rewrite" the story.

It was on special on Game PAss in December, think it was $5. Bought it only for that one month. Finished both AC Mirage and Avatar frontiers of Pandora.

Note: Mirage was probably the first AC game I enjoyed since Origins.

Doom: The Dark Ages Could Be the Next Step in Xbox's Multiplatform Strategy

The rumor was further corroborated by Microsoft insider Jez Corden of Windows Central, who reported that he'd also heard Doom: The Dark Ages is indeed slated for a PlayStation release. If true, then this could be a significant juncture in Xbox's multiplatform pivot, as it would be the first post-acquisition Zenimax game to launch day and date on PlayStation and Xbox. The precedence for Doom staying multiplatform due to it being a legacy IP still exists, but with Xbox finding success with its initial batch of four multiplatform games earlier this year, it appears the brand may eventually relinquish exclusivity entirely.
