Doom: The Dark Ages Could Be the Next Step in Xbox's Multiplatform Strategy

The rumor was further corroborated by Microsoft insider Jez Corden of Windows Central, who reported that he'd also heard Doom: The Dark Ages is indeed slated for a PlayStation release. If true, then this could be a significant juncture in Xbox's multiplatform pivot, as it would be the first post-acquisition Zenimax game to launch day and date on PlayStation and Xbox. The precedence for Doom staying multiplatform due to it being a legacy IP still exists, but with Xbox finding success with its initial batch of four multiplatform games earlier this year, it appears the brand may eventually relinquish exclusivity entirely.

The new Star Wars game looks awesome tbh. Could potentially be the best SW game? we'll see.

Looks good, in fact, it has made me decide to play Jedi Survivor next

Hopefully the main character isn't uglified - I want to objectify my fictional characters :X3:

I will say this about Ubisoft, their detailed maps are second to none. If you look at Star Wars Outlaws, AC games, Avatar. Just stunning.

Unfortunately, they lack character development, story and general gameplay in most of their games. As gorgeous as Star Wars looks, it also looks quite boring tbh.

Star Wars without Jedi is like watching Dragonball without Sayans. At least there is the Jedi games recently to scratch that itch.

It looks really good. I really enjoyed the Star Wars Jedi games, but something more open world is super welcome.
Yup say what you will about ubisoft, but they know how to create really good open worlds full of life and stuff to do. Really looking forward to this one.
