I think canon should be Ciri with two cougar sugarmoms. She's 21 in the Witcher 3, so she's probably 22/23 now?

Seems workable.

Yen lives with Geralt and Ciri goes on her nomadic Witcher ways dropping in now and then.

I think it will take much later than just a few years

Maybe 10 or more

It will take a lot of time to reach the point of the new game if she created a new Witcher school and figured out how to do the trial of grasses on herself and new kidnapped children/ I mean students

I prefer Geralt with Triss

Books aside, when considering just the games, Triss is in all 3 games. Geralt has a romantic relationship with Triss in all 3 games. More history with Triss etc

Yen rocks up in only the third game.
Never had a connection with her. Same goes for Ciri

Triss is the GOAT

You forgetting about the part of Triss not telling him the truth when he had lost his memory nor telling yen Geralt is alive.

Can't really ignore the books when it comes to this relationship ad it provides the full story.

Geralt & yen is and has always been the canon relationship.

That's fair enough, but considering CDPR is ignoring all canon with their new game, canon is off the table

Also, it should have been clear for anyone who has played Witcher 3 that she would be the protag in Witcher 4. Or at least that's how I always saw it that her short playable parts were sort of a taste of things to come in the future.

You know how those dislike add-ons work right? Anyone that uses it as a basis for an argument does so on wildly inaccurate data. Paul Tassi proved it long ago by showing the difference between his actual YT dashboard and what the add-ons showed, I thought people knew this.

This is ND, one of the most praised and prestigious studios out there, no doubt this game is going to be amazing. Plus that's an actual actress, who's in a lot of stuff. Seems people just want to be outraged again for no reason
 
We'll have to see the gameplay and whatnot, but that's a great trailer!
 
I don't get why drama queens once again have issues with how a character looks. Sci-fi movies have always had "ugly" women, tomboys, lesbians, weirdos etc etc, so why now the fake outrage these days with characters like that in games?

Why do nerds only want to see supermodels in games? Makes no sense. Should a space bounty hunter look and dress like a beauty queen? Bunch of karens lol.

Yep, there's zero reason to doubt Naughty Dog given their history.

I still remember when TLoU trailer first dropped. Thought Ellie would be this annoying kid that makes the game worse, turned out the game would have been worse without her...

I can only imagine people raging are not really familiar with them. On a technical and narrative level, they are pretty much equal to Rockstar. Their PS4 games still look and play better than most games being released today.

And true, it's hard to know these days if a game will be successful or not, but the folks spreading FUD based on one trailer is very funny to me - even their most hated game sold comfortably more than 10 million copies.

I can't wait, I don't really care about how the protagonist looks (and lets be real, bald/short haired women in a sci-fi setting is nothing new), if the gameplay is good I'll be there.
