Upcoming Games

SkillUp is stuttering like a mofo on his 4090 and couldn't even get pass shader compilation on his 3080 so that is that I guess.

I'll personally leave S2 alone for now.
 
Thank goodness I got it for free on GamePass Ultimate. Still looking forward to giving it a go.

Guy complains non stop about the difficulty, that you don't magically heal like in COD, enemies aren't predictable enough for him, inventory management, can't sprint far enough etc, etc

Bro is a COD casual and he obviously did not play the previous titles

No amount of difficulty setting is going to make the sound disappearing, textures derendering and a CVS till slip length of other bugs go away

The game is probably going to be really good at some point but that point is not right now.

There are not a lot of games in the genre and the original came out 17 years ago so people have been waiting for a bit.
 
Coming from Tarkov, this is right up my alley. Busy downloading the 150GB now and will give it a go tonight.

I don't mind bugs and issues at launch as long as the game is good. Will take a buggy good game over a polished dud any day. You can fix bugs, you can't fix a bad game.

Got the same impression from that review.

Gave STALKER 2 a spin last night, just 45 mins. Got it on gamepass.
Feels like throwback to stalker era games. Did not experience any technical issues.
Think Nvidia App needs an update, did not show fps, but seemed smooth.
Game already got me 2x with fn jump scares, shooting everywhere full-on panic :ROFL: :ROFL:

Jirr the SA lobbies is dead it seems this wipe? Even the Discord is like a ghost town. I gave this wipe a break and only played the first 2 months of previous wipe. Might jump back in for next one in December, depending on if the player base returns?

I've mostly been jamming PVE which I'm quite enjoying quite a bit.

It doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bad as Cyberpunk was, and look where that game is now...
