Cape Watch: Angelina Jolie Just Might Direct Captain Marvel

For 2018 release

File under: “Wait, that can’t be for real.” No less an authority than OK! Magazine reports that Marvel is looking to hire Angelina Jolie as the director of 2018’s Captain Marvel, with the magazine suggesting that the studio was preparing to pay her $20 million for the pleasure. Yes, that’s right, Marvel Studios paying a director $20 million for Captain Marvel.

Roger Moore was 58 when he did his last movie.
Connery made 'Never say never again' when he was 53.
Cavil would be awesome as Bond. As long as they keep the same level as the current movies. They are my favorite Bond movies.

Agreed. Doubt we'll ever see a 50+ Bond again as the role now calls for extreme fitness and agility. It's what the producers have wanted all along.

To be honest I haven't read the article you posted until now. I never enjoyed D9 or Elysium. They weren't crap or bad movies by any means especially compared to that god-aweful attempt at sci-fi . . . After Earth (what the hell was that?), so with that in mind I am mildy optimistic about this new project. After reading the article and some extra snippets I realised it has been some long standing passion of his to to an Alien movie so perhaps it won't be that bad.

lol...

I enjoyed bot D9 and Elysium, and Chappie looks fun, too.

Don't mess with a classic. Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection were already pushing it.

No more please.

Never understood that kind of thinking...how does making a movie in the same universe as a previous one, change the previous one?

First shots of Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Looks like goddamn Neptune.

‘Insidious Chapter 3′ Teaser and Poster Show Your Death

While Focus Features Insidious Chapter 3 trailer leaked this morning, it has since been pulled and replaced with a trailer teaser and official poster. The trailer releases officially tomorrow, so until then you at least have a look at this awesome poster that shows your death.

Leigh Whannell, co-creator of the terrifying horror franchise, directs the third film in theaters June 5, 2015.

“This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.“

The full cast of Insidious Chapter 3 includes Dermot Mulroney (August: Osage County) and Stefanie Scott (Jem and the Holograms) starring alongside Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Mr. Whannell, with the latter trio reprising their roles from the first two movies in the franchise.
