Upgrade from S4 to ?

As I mentioned in another thread, my Nexus 4 was diefed over the weekend. I don't want too big of a phone (women's pants just don't have the pockets and I can't deal), and also don't really want too spend more than I would on a Nexus 5 (if I could find one). 5 is bordering on too big for me though as well.

So if the options were:
LG G3 (might be bit big)
Z3 Compact
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini
or a new Nexus 4

what would your choice be? Taking price into account too, I'm not made of money.

:)

Edit: Don't mean to hijack the thread, just didn't want to add yet another similar topic to the mix.

G3 will be too big. Z3 Compact is really nice and I feel the S5 Mini is overpriced. Maybe look for a phone in the Classifieds or Carbonite. You'll get something there really quickly at a good price :)

G3 has crap battery and its big. Even the normal Z3 is better size.

Anyway if you want a small phone the the Z3 Compact is best.

I owned 4 generations of Samsung's and moved onto Motorola. I am loving the core android experience. Won't touch a bloated Sammy again.

What Motorola you got?? I got a Moto X (1st gen) currently on 4.4.4 and still loving it. Got a 2nd gen Moto G on the way. can't wait. Pity Motorola isn't here anymore. The offerings in SA are slim.

I have both the M8 and Note 4...

I still love the M8 to bits, the speakers are truly awesome, for movies, songs and gaming without headset.
The camera is fun to play with if you dont need anything serious, the dual camera is mostly gimmick but can be pretty cool as a party trick.

The note4...is really light compared to its weight...the screen is amazing and detailed...especially if you like to read in the dark...the camera is also pretty awesome....though i found the M8's sense to be a lot smoother and nicer to use.

I still use my M8 a lot more than the Note...the Note is just a bit too big to carry around...also dented the metal frames easily...

But to answer ur question...rather wait for the next gen phones...most of them out there arent much of an upgrade
