I never thought upgrading my Laptop's memory would make such a huge difference.

I have a i5 2.5ghz with 4GB DDR3 1333 installed.

Windows Experience Index gave me this score:

Processor: 7.1
RAM: 6.2
Graphics: 4.8
Gaming Graphics: 6.4
Primary Disk: 5.9

After I installed another 4GB DDR3 1333 Dim my RAM score and Graphics score went up:

RAM: 7.5
Graphics: 6.4

Now I just want to upgrade the Hard Drive to a SSD then I'm sure the performance will improve more.

That benchmark index of Windows 7 is a bunch of BS in any case, because no one really knows how it scales.
Secondly, you can fairly easily hit its limit of 7.9 if you have a high end desktop machine.

Yeah not sure what the big difference is that you are referring to, quite possibly the only reason your graphics score went up is because there is now more Ram that is dedicated for it. It won't improve it though. Come back when you have upgraded from your Hard drive to a SSD then you will see a true performance increase.

Uhm okay but did you actually experience the difference first hand? Were your programs requiring more memory than you had?
