Upgrading on cell c

I am a cell c customer who is currently drawing nearer to my upgrade window which will start in march. I am on a casual chat 100 and i'm paying R69 for a nokia 6300. I would like to upgrade to a 5800 expressmusic but i am uncertain me how much my monthly payments will be. I can't afford to pay too much as i am only a high school student. I would like to stay on a casual chat contract, how much do u think my monthly payments will amount to after the upgrade or how much will i have to pay-in cash? Thanks in advance

Your best bet is to walk into a Cell C shop and ask them.

I wouldn't sign a 24 month contract now though. With the looming interconnect rate drops, things are going to get interesting. Competition will bring prices lower, and I wouldn't want to find myself stuck in a 24 month contract just coz I couldn't wait a few more months.

Switch to prepaid if you can. Live with your crappy old phone for a few months more....

i don't mind saying for my call charges. All i really want is a cool new phone with the latest features but at an affordable price, i.e the 5800 expressmusic

Well that 5800 XM is a great choice... Check with your local Cell C shop for pricing...
