If you don't own anything, take your time, think of a good story why you need R1000 instant cash, hit 22 places offering loans.

Yes they most likely would, but as far as I have been told, you need to produce 3 months bank statements in order to get a loan but I do not have 3 months to wait, as I posted earlier.
So where was your salary paid in the last three months? It's not three months as from now.

I have been with Bidvest as from the beginning of the year, and yes it is 3 months from now, unfortunately I have argued that point with all the banks I went to.

Here's another

I appreciate all this information but it does not help me as ti is for opening up a new account NOT for applying for a loan. I am sorry I seem to have caused a ruckus here so I will now say thank you and will now leave with this:

I am a 50 year-old poor white, I live in a room in a house for which I pay R 2,750 a month.. I am not married. Even though I am employed, I basically battle from month to month. For some reason, though, this seems to be unbeleiveable to people.
The reason I need the loan is because I borrowed a friends car and trashed it and I am now lible for the damage which neither my friend or the insurers are willing to take over a payment period as my friend needs the car for work. So That is why I am looking for a loan shark so I can get his car fixed as soon as possible.

Again, I apologise for bringing up the subject, I just really thought there was someone out there who knew where I could find these loan sharks. I was NEVER expecting anyone here to loan me the money, that was NEVER my intention when starting this thread. The moderators are more than welcome to delete this thread as well as my account if they see fit.

thanking you for your time and assistance,
Mark

What car was it?

Pay your friend the maximum you can afford every month, then move on. If he is not happy with the maximum you can pay, shrug it off, lose a friend.

If your story is true then your friend has to have accepted the risk of lending you the car. If he did not have insurance that was his decision. If he did have then the insurers should pay. If you were under the influence and they wont pay then thats also a risk the lender agreed to take- by default.

If your story is true then you are not shying away from your responsibility- make him an offer to pay back and he will have to accept it. A loan shark is only going to make this whole situation worse as you say you are already battling. How are you going to battle paying back a loan shark's interest?

They cannot force you to pay more than you can afford to.

Your basic necessities (rent, food, etc) comes first.

And stay away from loan sharks and loans. Not worth it.

Fistly I dont do that to friends, secondly I was DUI and its a condition of suspended sentence, pay all or go sit.

Find A Panel Beater that will fix it and Pay them Off
They are less likely to break any part of your body.
Many of them are desperate for business, you can then sign an agreement with them.
DONT LOAN MONEY, IT WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS.

DUI charges has nothing to do with the repairs of the car. If you pay the damages of the car in full, the court will shrug and say, OK, let's go on to the DUI charge, if found guilty you could meet pappa or end up with a fine, which you probably can't pay and meet pappa.

Is this about the damage of the car or about paying the fine to avoid meeting pappa?
