*Facepalm*.

You are the one that cannot seem to get basic facts straight.

There is a distinct difference.

What basic facts did I get wrong? You didn't point anything out. All mail-in votes are absentee votes, but absentee votes can also be dropped off. The ballot is still mailed to the absentee voter.

It's entirely incoherent to say absentee voting is fine, but mail-in voting isn't. Mail in-voting is absentee voting!

And the link you posted prove you wrong, Em.

In short: Absentee and vote by mail are basically the same thing, both have low rates of fraud, and one of the two will be available to the vast majority of American voters on November 3, 2020.

And what hypocrisy, Orbital Dawn? I have been outspoken against these extended lock-downs from the start. These politicians that are keeping everyone in lock-downs and then run around without masks are the epitome of hypocrisy. You are a hypocrite for defending Pelosi, too.

The hypocrisy that I pointed out in the post - how'd you miss it?

How did I defend Pelosi? Just tilting at windmills as always.

People who live in glass houses...

Maybe the orange snollygoster's spray tan technician should run the USA instead.
So are you saying Nancy is a dumb floozy with no brain of her own, thus no personal accountability and she's a victim? Yet somehow also magically one of the most powerful dems? The disconnect is real.

Ah - deflection: Orange man's fault. o_O

Even after this Orbital Dawn is still going to try and defend mass voting by mail. One wonders in what world people like this live in when supporting a voting method causes so much uncertainty and chaos. The country is already divided, and voting via mail is going to make everyone question the results. Guess that whole thing about uniting everyone is just absolute nonsense.

What does Georgia incorrectly purging voter rolls have to do with mail-in voting? You're all over the place.

Vote Biden or we will carry on looting, rioting and burning things to the ground!

Is this really the messaging you want to push, Orbital Dawn?

This is hilariously desperate reaching. But glad you got your talking points. ;)

It's public opinion polling.

But guess whose messaging it is that it's better for us for there to be more violence - Trumpets:

I can't stop l laughing at this. Orbital Dawn is really posting polls to prove that Democrats are so violent they will continue rioting in the streets if the election does not go their way.

You can't stop laughing at your own inability to understand what public opinion polling means? Bit weird, but okay.

I find it highly objectionable that Pelosi claims this was a set up.
That she may not have worn a mask is neither here nor there when trump does the same.
Perhaps Pelosi made an innocent mistake confusing local laws when in her position she is dealing with multiple laws applied in different states - but to claim this was an intentional setup, and in doing so knew full well what that would do to a small business, is a stretch too far.

Yeah, the setup excuse is appalling - like people who get caught in crimes complaining about entrapment. People can make mistakes and the differing regulations in different states reason could be plausible. She should have owned this and admitted she was wrong.

I hold no truck for Pelosi at all, but it seems there's a bit more to it.

The stylist at the center of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s controversial hair appointment said Pelosi was set up by the salon owner who blamed the speaker for shutting down her business, supporting Pelosi’s defense of the visit widely criticized by Republicans this week.

Which you are blatantly guilty of yourself, you hold yourself up as a paragon of intelligent and enlightened debate and then descend into base insults without a moment's hesitation.

I have no issue with people having a go at posters, it makes interactions far more interesting, what I have a problem with is your lot getting precious about character assassination and reporting posters for doing the exact same things you regularly resort too...

He is of course being dishonest about that interaction and leaving out where I did respond to Xarog's claim and jumps straight to insults. Weird how he keeps doing that!

Sending in your vote by mail then going to the polling station and trying to vote *just to test the system* sure seems like voting twice to me
Na you wrong on this one. Trump is technically correct and it is "fine" to do that. It is a loophole.

The problematic part of all of this that he is encouraging his supporters to DDoS the election infrastructure. Classy stuff.

The attached document attempts to reset our thinking on the way elections should be run, suggesting that the normal rule of law should perhaps be overridden. They blame Trump for everything, but hey, the Democrats are the ones publishing this and making these suggestions.

It seems that the narrative is being developed already, to normalise "alternative" methods of winning (stealing?) a democratic election!

Bloomberg is reporting that a Democrat analytics firm is predicting a landslide win to Trump on election night, but hastens to add not to worry, that will be reversed later on - is this what they seem to be relying on?

Fascinating that they're actually running with this "if we only count some votes my guy would totally win" as a serious argument.

Then again, given the intended audience, I guess it doesn't really have to be.

Is it any surprise that we're back to another round of pretending Trump said something other than what he actually said?

His exact words:

“They will vote and then they are going to have to check their vote by going to the poll and voting that way because if it tabulates then they won’t be able to do that. So let them send it in, and let them go vote. And if the system is as good as they say it is, then they obviously won’t be able to vote.”

It makes literally zero sense if he didn't mean actually voting twice instead of confirming your absentee ballot has been correctly processed.

Some more details on the crony Trump installed at USPS.

In one instance, DeJoy’s son, Andrew, secured a slot on Duke University’s tennis team in 2014 while his parents wrote a series of large checks to the school’s athletic department.

The team was ranked 14th in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and drew a host of top national and international prospects. But Andrew DeJoy was not one of them when he joined as a walk-on freshman months after the season started.

In the years before Andrew DeJoy enrolled, the family’s foundation donated several thousand dollars a year to Duke. But in 2014 they escalated their giving with a $737,000 contribution, according to tax records. The money helped finance the Blue Devil Tower, a massive glass-encased addition to the school’s football stadium, which includes the DeJoy Family Club, a “first-class” banquet hall overlooking the field with space for 600 people.

During Andrew DeJoy’s second year on the team, his family gave another $462,000 to Duke. The donations continued during the rest of his tenure at the school, totaling at least $2.2 million.

Then point out the dishonesty Orbital who keeps insinuating stuff but never quotes the full context.

You led with a character assassination liar! Weird how you keep doing that!
