I wouldn't even call it protest, what you call "protest" was looting, rioting, destruction of property and just general lawlessness.

Maybe there was a few hours of knee bending that could have been considered peaceful if all participants were there voluntarily just before every major riot.

We don't exactly report on or make a big deal of every single group of people that walk down the street without burning, looting and rioting. Good for them if they can behave in a civilized manner.

The violent riots are relevant at the moment.

The specific group that fought and called themselves antifa was German communist even back then.

Pretty much the same as antifa today.

Some communists like Russia was on the correct side.
That doesn't mean you can now conflate all the BS together to try and make antifa today into something that's not a terrorist or communist organisation.

Everyone was antifa that fought the Germans and Italians. All countries pushed anti fascist propaganda and killed fascists. If it happens again, the fascists will lose again as the world turns on them once again.

Totally agreed. Everyone was anti-fascist. I'm against all forms of Authoritarianism.

That doesn't make the communists antifa group of today any good.

There is a great and growing number of sheep that just love it when the government nannies them.

They are turning in their freedoms for some nice fascist protection like mask and lockdowns.
