Joe Biden has always had a reputation for his gaffes. Here's an article from back in 2013, discussing Biden's gaffes:

Mischievous detractors are representing Biden's gaffes as evidence of dementia. Dementia is a progressive disease. Biden has always made gaffes. There hasn't been a sudden deterioration in his cognitive state, suggestive of dementia, as some are claiming. That's why an intelligent man like Bloomberg is happy to endorse Biden.

Just as old Joe's gaffes are part and parcel of the man - a major flaw to some , to others, just part of being old Joe...

The crucial difference is that Biden's gaffes are (i) unintentional and (ii) made with good intentions, whilst Trump's crudeness is (i) intentional and (ii) done with bad intentions.

In fact, when you watch the video, it's clear that his wife, and sister, were standing behind him, outside his line of vision, and he began introducing his sister, without having seen her, apparently thinking that she was standing to his right, and as he turned around and saw that it was his wife instead, he immediately said so, and said that they'd switched on him.

So no, he did not mistake his wife for his sister, as is being claimed by mischievous detractors of his, who are citing this as evidence of supposed dementia.

Wait, do the Democrats' strategy for winning 2020 is electing someone who is similar to Trump?

So sad we won't have the opportunity to rip Biden apart for 4 years... He won't win :D

That's just plain bollocks and you know it. Bloomberg explicitly got into the race to stop Sanders and at the time, he thought Biden was too weak to compete. Bloomberg was also going to endorse the Democratic establishment's choice if it wasn't him.

Bloomberg has formally endorsed Biden. He would not have done so had he thought that Biden has dementia.

Lumeer was making it out as if it was a considered choice by Bloomberg. It wasn't. Bloomberg would have endorsed *anyone* who wasn't Sanders. It doesn't necessarily mean he thinks Biden is competent. It's just used as a signal for his supporters to vote for Biden.

Because, after watching the clip, it seems like he's just talking a bit of kak...unlike biden who has plagiarized "important" speeches and outright lied about his qualifications -like serious stuff.
trump calling himself a super genius sounds like shlt-talking vs biden's "On a full scholarship, I finished in the top half of my class, was outstanding class-blah-blah-I-forget and have 3 degrees."

I don't know, man, to me biden's lies seem worse...but hey, that's just me.
Either way, the debates between him and trump are going to be fcking glorious to watch! :ROFL:
