OMF - what is Kushner doing there !

That's the brains behind the whole operation. Good to see he's finally showing his face

He's obviously solved the problems in the Middle East, so he's got some time to sort out Corona.

Gotta say though, both he and Pence are waaay more coherent and reassuring than Trump.

“I have all this data about ICU capacity. I’m doing my own projections, and I’ve gotten a lot smarter about this. New York doesn’t need all the ventilators,” Kushner announced

Shameful, but its been the Orange Zeus' style from the get go.

Navy relieves captain who raised alarm about coronavirus outbreak on aircraft carrier

The Navy announced it has relieved the captain who sounded the alarm about an outbreak of COVID-19 aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Capt. Brett Crozier, who commands the Roosevelt, an aircraft carrier with a crew of nearly 5,000, was be relieved of his command on Thursday

Crozier raised the alarm earlier this week that sailors on the ship need to be quarantined to stop the spread of the virus. His plea for assistance quickly made headlines.

But if you are a war criminal (Eddie Gallagher) you can trash talk your entire command on Fox News and still have a president release you.

Obama Announces He Is No Longer Responsible For The Economy
My favorite bit ; "Obama said as he admired the ocean, which will consume his home in fewer than twelve years."

This isn't going to end well.

“You’ve entered not just the world of accepting credit risk but of allocating it as well,” said Mark Spindel, a Fed historian who is the chief executive officer of Potomac River Capital. Through the emergency $2.3 trillion legislation passed last week, “Congress and Treasury have decided to cast the Fed as the only balance sheet large enough” for the measures that might be needed.

In the extreme, that could include roughly $26 trillion in debt held by non-financial companies and households - $16 trillion if home mortgages are excluded.

LOL

"As soon as this thing stabilizes, I'll be there, claiming credit for things I didn't do."

I wonder if Trump would understand what Obama was doing with this.

I'm encouraged by some of Trump's recent behaviour: (i) he said that America should take in sick cruise ship passengers; (ii) he didn't block medical supplies that are much needed in America itself, from going to Italy amd Spain, and (iii) he put the spotlight on chloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID.

WTF?
Weren't you and other TDSers just the other day arguing that Trump is responsible for that man dying because he took fish poison which contained chloroquine? Make up your mind you loony nut. TDS really kicked in bad a few days back hey! Feeling a little better now?

Your insults are not needed.

I criticised how Trump uses his words when addressing the layperson. I'm now complimenting him for having worked with the FDA to get chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine approved for the treatment of COVID, and having gotten trials going.

It's not the same thing.

The fake polls and fake news™ are hilarious as usual.

Yeah right

Sorry but your flip-flopping just brought the insults out of me..

That’s some serious spin there Doc!

New Orleans residents suffer from obesity, diabetes and hypertension at rates higher than the national average, conditions that doctors and public health officials say can make patients more vulnerable to COVID-19, the highly contagious respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.

Some 97% of those killed by COVID-19 in Louisiana had a pre-existing condition, according to the state health department. Diabetes was seen in 40% of the deaths, obesity in 25%, chronic kidney disease in 23% and cardiac problems in 21%.

I suppose there is a silver lining to this in that healthcare in the US is going to be much cheaper if COVID-19 thins the population.

You must have missed the memo. Trump sending out humanitarian aid is bad. FDA treatment trials are false hope snake oil bad.
