The whole point of the process in the house is to gather all the evidence before it goes to trial. The Dems voted to impeach prematurely, because they knew it was a sham in any case.

Did schiff not spend 23 odd hours showing the testimony of 17 of those 18 witnesses?
Was there not 100k odd pages of testimony presented from 17 of those 18 witnesses?

What they wanted was NEW witnesses... well, heres a question, why have they not called them yet? :whistling:

I don't understand your question. Bolton hasn't come forward because he obstructed the house's subpoena and now the trial is over. The Senate clearly has no desire to hear from Bolton or anyone else because they know that their testimony will further incriminate Trump.

No, the house has never issued a subpoena for him. He has stated numerous times, subpoena me and I will testify
Now a month later, still no subpoena from house

Bolton was quoted yesterday, when asked about the Ukrainian fiasco, as saying: "You'll love chapter 14".

He knows, everyone knows. They just choose to use this corruption for their own corruption.

So they're working on it. The failing of impeachment is all on schiff and pelosi, from start to finish, can cry no witnesses all day long, its simply not true. There were 18. The subpoenas the dems had issued, they withdrew as they wanted it done before christmas and would take too long. Had they actually gone through with the process, have the court decide what does/doesn't fall under executive privilege(as well as allow the lawyers in to cut the classified stuff) we'd have a very different case going on. They rushed it and ****ed it with all just feels and assumptions.

They got as much evidence as they could without going to the courts over it. If they had gone to the courts it would have taken a year or so to get the witnesses. That is not a reasonable requirement of them, especially since that would take them over the time of the coming election. You're still basically just braying about the fact that while the Senate could have forced the witnesses to come forward, they chose to block the chance to hear from the most first-hand witnesses, for no good f***ing reason apart from explicitly trying to protect Trump from more damaging evidence.

Not at all... we listened to schiff drone on for months about people ignoring subpoenas and being blocked... well, facts come out and they only issued 2, which they then withdrew them, and didn't bother with anyone else as turns out, schiffs a mind reader and knows who will and will not testify... who knows how many would have testified had they actually been issued subpoenas? 10? 20? All? who knows, Schiff made it easy and decided for them. None. And that was his game at the time, 'we're being denied evidence'.
And then 'obstruction of congress'... what? how is it obstruction when schiff hasn't issued subpoenas, withdrew the pending ones and didn't bother getting the court to rule on what info and doc falls under executive privilege. I'm still shocked that even 1 dem voted for that given schiff didn't bother doing anything to get witnesses and documents.
As far as 'senate forcing'... no, no different to house, they can go to court all the same, again, comes down to house wanting it done by christmas. Schiff didn't bother doing his job and wanted senate to do it for him. Senates job is to basically rule on the articles of impeachment. House had impeached with the witnesses and evidence they got. It is done, article written up. Not senates fault they never had the evidence from first handers to impeach, but that didn't stop them, they impeached him anyway, and then tried to get the evidence to make it stick later. Thats the fark up, find someone guilty, we'll find the evidence and witnesses later. It was a joke from day one. And as said, all schiff and pelosi, nothing to do with senate and 'no witnesses'.

You know the "ANC before the country", no different to the the Rep's when they chose to vote against the removal from office. When the time came for them to vote, a whole load of new evidence was rolling in, but they turned a blind eye.

Sanders’ support grew nine points to 32 percent, double the backing of Democrats’ second choice, Joe Biden, who registered 16 percent. Biden’s polling was halved since January after two pretty dismal returns, seriously denting his message of inevitability and electability. Sanders has built a double-digit lead in the next state to go to the polls this week, Nevada, but Biden’s still leading in South Carolina, though by a narrowing margin, and a win there could offer a potential course correction for the former vice president going into Super Tuesday March 3
