Trump had sweet FA to do with that, in comparison to what JFK had to do with the Apollo program.

Other than that awesome speech by JFK, what did he do? Can you contrast that with what Trump has done.

Trump will take Nov 2020. Crackdown on the protests will be seen by his vase as validation in their belief for Trump and embolden others.

1968 repeated.

1918 has been forgotten about.

Relax. Still more than 5 months to go. Think about the last 5 months. A lot can happen.

Don't be like Hillary.

Ill give you a detailed analysis tomorrow.

Ok. I'm not being too much of a smartass here.

I was reading up on JFK ( who I have always been a fan of, one of only 3 POTUS I like) the other day after watching some Noam Chomsky. (Always fact check Noam to see what he leaves out)

Didn't realise how much JFK had to do with agent orange and few other things in Vietnam.

Not a fan of Noam. He was a Cambodian genocide denier.

I'll give you some details in the morning.

I enjoy different opinions.

His storytelling ability is great and you learn plenty.
But always fact check. He cherry picks and never has his view challenged by anyone.

Biden sending a message.
Paying bail money for the "white supremacists" and "Russians".

I'm sure he is donating to the victims of the looters as well.

ANTIFA has been declared a terrorist group.
Biden and the Hollywood celebs have been funding them.

Interesting...

I mean, there's just zero evidence that this is helping him at all. This learned helplessness is really weird.

I don't know that Trump will last, physically/mentally, to November.
Those who are propping him up as their screen are seemingly having greater and greater problems keeping him straight.

The differences are stark.

Kennedy personally stood in front of Congress in 1961 and lobbied for additional funding of $9 Billion for NASA.

He set forth the path and provided NASA with the razor focus it needed to achieve the goal he set forward. He backed up his rhetoric with action. From budget increases to chairing review meetings directly with NASA staff and engineers to establish where NASA was and how achievable the goal of landing a man on the moon before that decade is out, could be achieved.

He pushed for an 89% increase of the budget in 1961 and a further 101% increase the year after.

Trump? NASA's budget has increased under him at relatively the same rate it has been increasing since 2013. So as yet no appreciable impact on its budget.

In terms of inspirational change and leadership, nothing different to say Bush. One or two speeches about returning to the moon, just as Bush did.

It was Bush who set NASA on the path of using commercial enterprises to develop rockets for use. He set forward the goal in 2006 to get NASA to work with commercial enterprises to be able to send cargo to the ISS.

In 2010 under Obama, the concept for manned missions using the same kind of private public partnership was born.

SpaceX and Boeing were selected in 2014 for this programme.

So Trump is just riding the bow wave from the ship that was launched way back in 2006.

So it's about how you perceive what they did?
Anyway thanks for the effort.

You didn't mention the Space force (Because whatever Trump does you will belittle of course).

The NASA manager interviewed yesterday had many good things to say about Trump.
It was on a live feed so didn't save it.

Space Force is a new branch of the military.

It has no objective to send anyone to the moon or explore space, so has pretty much nothing to do with this.

The stated mission of Space Force is -

Space Force is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities will include developing military space professionals, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands.

Basically safeguard military and communication satellites.

Nothing to do with actual space exploration and endeavours.

He is asking for a big budget for 2021. Will see what he gets. Over his term there has been ups and downs. 2017 the budget went down by 1%. Then up by 3.7% in 2018, then only 1.9% in 2019.
