MAGA!

Their per capita death is still far below that of the worst European countries (Belgium, UK, Italy , Spain) and no-one with half a brain is holding Trump mostly responsible for either the deaths or the economic chaos especially since ALL countries are experiencing economic hardship. It's also well appreciated that it's the leftists who were the strongest supporters of the lockdown which is correlated to the degree economic pain. On top of all that, governors themselves have lots of power and well what are Trump supporters seeing? The worst affected states are deep blue states....

I've said it before and I'll say it again: coming second place in the race of "how badly did I fsck it up" race is not something to be proud of and it very much does not mean you did a good job.

Criticizing the US administration for their performance is not condoning performance of other nations.
Europe fscked up.
USA fscked up.

Both are true at the same time. One does not absolve the other of accountability.

Why is this concept so difficult for Trump supporters to understand?

@greg0205 literally blamed Trump for 100 000 deaths and 40milion workers . I'm just pointing out the average voter won't be blaming Trump for those deaths. It's a churlish attack line and will be very ineffective. Of course, it could have been handled far better but I haven't heard of Macron being blamed for the 30000 deaths or the Germans blaming Merkel for the 8000 deaths.

ANTIFA has been declared a terrorist group.
Biden and the Hollywood celebs have been funding them.

Interesting...

Care to provide a citation on Biden funding something that is barely an organisation?
Who are the leaders of Antifa?

Antifa is not really an organisation but a label for anarchists and some other people
Anonymous is more of an organisation

Trump doesn't have a whole lot going for him other than the economy. He wanted to take full credit for the growth that happened before the lockdowns, and that was supposed to make up for the fact that he's incredibly disliked in all other ways, not to mention that he was impeached.

Now he's got all those negatives, plus a staggering recession and between 1-200k Covid deaths by November. On top of that there's nationwide protests erupting now that he's only stoked with his rhetoric. What exactly is his case for re-election?

Well from your point of view as a campaign socialist this might be true, but it is only true from your very narrow point of view.

I mean sure Trump is to blame for the nation wide protest in all the Democrat cities.

You see that right there is the problem. You have such a Trumpist way of interpreting events. The Trumpist way is of course to create false, simplified and fewer choices/interpretations than reality.

Greg didn't blame all the deaths on Trump. That is your strawman
Greg, and I will include myself, criticized the performance of the president and administration in response to the reality of deaths and unemployment. In response to the situation they are not doing their best.

Do I blame the administration for all 100000 deaths? No obviously not, only a moron would go that route.
Do I blame the administration for all the preventable deaths that resulted from their poor performance? Yes. Yes I do. And I don't understand why you don't as well.

You are criticizing Trump for the economy whist supporting lockdowns. It's hypocritical.

Did he?

Or did he quote actual numbers and follow it with a picture of the WH where the lights were off because there is no leadership coming from it?

But I get it. Metaphors are hard.

See everyone the system works like clockwork
Dude. Do you not support the lockdowns?
The lockdowns, shutting down many businesses is the economy.
Lifties were screeching that lives are more important than the economy and supported lockdowns.
Now that the economy is looking shít you literally want to blame Trump, who's been saying open up businesses.

Explain to my how I have this wrong and how you aren't a complete hypocrite.

Did your metaphor not mean exactly what Chris said or even what you are saying now.

You are literally and metaphorically blaming Trump and then you say "metaphors are hard"?

Lol okay. This was enough stupid for one day.
