When they talk about "decent" people what they mean is we know the behaviour on the right is awful and indecent and we need to prove that you're no better than us

Keeping that screenshot for the next time a 2A conversation pops up.

Need to know if they side with conservatives who *need* to be armed to defend themselves from the tyranny of government, or conservatives who would unleash the tyranny of government.

Also see: Donald J Trump's "dominate" comments.

The reproduction number of the murder-Americans-virus amongst Republicans is fast approaching R1

Their per capita death is still far below that of the worst European countries

Per capita death rate is meaningless, as viruses don't spread uniformly through populations.

The only thing it's relevant for in countries that aren't minuscule is an absolute ceiling on infections/deaths.

and no-one with half a brain is holding Trump mostly responsible for either the deaths or the economic chaos especially since ALL countries are experiencing economic hardship. It's also well appreciated that it's the leftists who were the strongest supporters of the lockdown which is correlated to the degree economic pain. On top of all that, governors themselves have lots of power and well what are Trump supporters seeing? The worst affected states are deep blue states....

Pandemic response is a federal responsibility, as it's got a strategic component to it that individual states can't manage.

Trump's failure is in how the Federal government responded. And other countries don't have near the level of death or economic damage. Germany's unemployment only went up to 5.5% while the US' jumped to 14.7%. It's likely to go up for both, but the US' will likely be way worse.

And the countries that had a proper response, including hard, fast lockdowns, are now able to open up sooner and have less economic damage, due to proper policy response. This includes Australia, NZ, Denmark, Germany, etc.

Genuinely thought we were going to see the Insurrection Act rolled out there.

Instead we got sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Not a hint of empathy. Not a one... “We the People” is a contemptuous notion to him.

Weak, small, cowardly man, gratuitously puffing his chest as if we don’t know he was hiding in a bunker.

“I am an ally of all peaceful protesters” says the man who minutes before ordered police to fire teargas at peaceful protesters so he could cross a park to get a photo at a church - 'cos Joe got a photo earlier.

Then stands outside the church holding a bible, but doesn't set a foot inside.

Turns out there's one photo from that op that I do like...

Every time he opens his mouth

The White House had to walk back three policy announcements from President Trump's Oval Office announcement Wednesday that are causing more confusion than comfort during the coronavirus outbreak.

1) Europe travel ban: Trump said Americans will be exempt "who have undergone appropriate screenings."

His words caused people in Europe to buy tickets at premium prices back to the U.S. in a panic, per the Washington Post.
But it will only apply to foreign nationals who have been in the Schengen region of Europe within 14 days of arrival in the U.S. It does not apply to permanent U.S. residents, citizens or immediate family of citizens, per the Department of Homeland Security.
2) Health insurers: "Have agreed to waive all copayments for coronavirus treatments," Trump said.

But insurers have agreed to wave copayments for testing, not treatment.
3) Trade: The White House walked back Trump's statement that the travel restrictions "apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval."

The big picture: Although Trump spent extra time making sure businesses knew he'd ease economic uncertainty, stocks fell more than 8% on Thursday morning and halted briefly for the second time this week.

All because, his little run to the bunker last Friday,....the frailties of an egomaniac.
Pres. of Law and Order will sadly not win a reelection, GOP will lose the Senate, Dems will increase their majority in the House of Reps. GOP got royally conned, and Dems will have a FDR period of redefining cleaning up America.

Quite a contrast.

That has got to be one of the biggest failed attempts at a virtue signalling psyop.
Joe the Crime Bill man of "these people are beyond the pale... , take them off the street, lock them up" fame and his own demtard plutocrat friends say that his bill resulted in mass incarceration.
