Ginsburg expressed her opinion on Trump before the 2016 election - an extremely unprofessional move by someone who is a Supreme Court judge (https://www.theguardian.com/law/2016/jul/12/ruth-bader-ginsburg-donald-trump-election-ethics). She should definitely recuse herself. Yes, we all know she wouldn't have supported Trump, but it's very different to going public with it, since no Supreme Court judge has done it for decades.

Democratic-appointed judges now hold a three-seat majority, compared with 11 at the start of Trump's presidency.


If the trend continues, it represents a major shift in the liberal wing of the judiciary, meaning lawsuits for progressive causes won’t find a friendly ear as easily as they have. The circuit has been the go-to venue for activist state attorneys eager to freeze Trump policies on health care, immigration and other social issues. It ruled against Trump's weakening of Obamacare's contraceptive mandate, as well as multiple versions of his travel ban.

Your virtue signalling of being in favour of gun rights is just that, until you buy guns for everyone who cant afford a gun.
