Is he talking about manufacturing jobs? He's right, Trump hasn't brought those back
The U.S. labor force is the smallest it’s been since the 1970s as a share of the adult population: 62.8 percent today, down from 66 percent in December 2007, when the recession began. If the labor force participation rate had remained unchanged over that time, nearly 8 million more Americans would be in the workforce today. The government defines the “labor force” as everyone over the age of 15 who’s either working (i.e. employed) or actively looking for work (i.e. unemployed).
Happily for President Trump, the pros agree with him. A recent survey of economists suggest it is President Trump, and not Obama, who should be taking a bow.
The Wall Street Journal asked 68 business, financial and academic economists who was responsible for the strengthening of the economy, and most “suggested Mr. Trump’s election deserves at least some credit” for the upturn.
Times US hit 4% quarterly GDP growth under Obama: 4
*gasp* There wasjob creationgdp growth at end of a recession that cost millions of jobs...

Another one who didn't read the article.
“I have some information as well about the Obama administration – which will be disclosed in a lawsuit at some point, but I’m not prepared to disclose it now – about how President Obama personally asked the FBI to investigate somebody on behalf of George Soros, who was a close ally of his.”

Na bru is just a harmless game anybody can play! Let's have a go:That's pathetic. He should disclose what he has or not say anything at all.
Switzerland disagrees.
I'm a proponent of participatory democracy, and that is why I am a proponent of decentralisation/federalism as well. The latter breaks the system down further so it makes direct democracy more practical.
Just because I voted for you 3-years ago doesn't mean you have the green light to go ahead and do what you want now. At all times the electorate should be able to check the government. The electorate should even be allowed to vote on recalling politicians and their own referendums. Pull Jacob Zuma stunts and the people should be able to step in and oust you, not be at the mercy of a government protecting a questionable politician. If the electorate feels that the ruling government has lost the plot and is no longer acting in the best interests of the country, they should be allowed to call for a referendum demanding an early election.
thestaggy said:Of course this works better with a well developed and homogeneous society (which also influences my opinions on immigration and assimilation as well) but that is how I feel democracies should function in an ideal world. But seeing as we don't live in one I still feel that the electorate should have way more power and influence than they do in a representative system.
Trump has been a force for good for the economy because he is getting the people who literally have no-idea what they are doing (i.e the government) out of the economy.
Try again Gnarls
