It is impossible to parse anything you said into something even remotely meaningful. Coherent points, proper sentences, paragraph breaks. The basics of communication.

I read it just fine. Smells like a cop out.

Its becoming the norm it seems, back and forth discussing and debating, then 'mah sentences' and silence. Whatever makes them happy.

They went from Make America Great Again to Keep America Great in just three short years. I guess there couldn't have been that much wrong with the country in the first place if it was that easy to fix.

Will Bill Barr resign as he is apparently considering doing? Will Trump set a record for having had the highest number of attorneys general in one term?

Do the Harlem Shuffle.

Top Pentagon policy official expected to depart administration

The Pentagon's top policy official is expected to depart his post soon, according to two sources familiar with the matter. John Rood, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy at the Pentagon, lost support among senior national security leadership and has been asked for his resignation, one of the sources said.

Rood is the Pentagon's top policy official and oversees aspects of the Pentagon's relationship with US allies and partners. Rood was involved in certifying to Congress that Ukraine had embarked on significant reforms to justify its receipt of $250 million in security assistance. That certification undermined one of the justifications -- concerns about corruption in Kiev -- that some members of the Trump administration made to defend blocking aid to Ukraine.

Hours after Trump's July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which kicked off impeachment proceedings, Rood emailed Secretary of Defense Mark Esper -- who had been in the job two days -- informing him about an upcoming deputies meeting, "to discuss the President's concern about endemic corruption in Ukraine and his reported view that US should cease providing security assistance," according to emails reviewed by CNN.

Rood notes in his email to the secretary that "placing a hold on security assistance at this time would jeopardize this unique window of opportunity and undermine our defense priorities with a key partner in the strategic competition with Russia."

You should look at the speed at which some countries rebuild after WW2. Not everything happens as slowly as what we get here in dark Africa.

It was the most perfect troll move to end the argument and win.

You mean Temujin's move to flood the argument with meaningless babble and factless opinion that can't possibly be responded to rationally? It's like trying to swat a crowd of angry mosquitoes.

All I said is fact... actually left one out... several wh staff even volunteered to testify provided they had council as a lot they can not discuss as its classified, security etc... schiff denied them council, so they said then we need subpoenas... low and behold again, not one received anything, just schiff in front of cameras playing victim and mouthing off about being 'blocked' by trump. He wasn't blocked, he didn't subpoena anything, not witnesses or documents, nothing. Then to top it off, what do we see, vindman has council to filter what he can and can't answer, just like the wh staff requested... interesting. There was obstruction in the house investigation, it was schiff obstructing himself.

Ok do you have a link?

Cipollone said former Trump campaign aide Corey Lewandowski, who was also subpoenaed to appear at Tuesday’s hearing, could testify but not about conversations with Trump after he became president or with his senior advisers.

You looked at the graph you are citing? Why don't you see where the current trend of spending started? It was in 2010 with QE under the first Messiah.

You were just bleating on about how the economy was fantastic under Obama and that Trump is still in his legacy, yet if you look at the deficit, the same story applies Trump is following pretty much the same lines.

You mean when the economy was in the largest recession since the Great Depression? Gee, whoda thunk it.

What's Trump's excuse, exactly? This is supposed to be the "best economy ever", right?

He promised to eliminate the debt in 8 years, remember?

You cannot have it both ways

Seems to me you're trying to.

The US can't tax themselves out of this, only way to do it is to cut spending, then keep it constant until the economy grows. I have said this before, neither party will do it.

Trump at least isn't campaigning budget friendly things like eliminating student debt, Medicare for all etc.
And unlike tax cuts, those things don't make business easier, which improves the GDP growth rate a bit.

lol, yes he did. He broke that promise. Just like he's lying about protecting people with pre-existing conditions.

Tax cuts grow the economy.

lol, no they don't.

It failed dramatically in Kansas, Reagan's was a complete joke.

And Trump's didn't work either.

Donald Trump’s signature legislative achievement was the corporate-tax cut he signed in 2017. Republicans said it would grow the economy by up to 6 percent, stimulate business investment, and pay for itself.

None of those promises have come to pass. GDP growth has declined to less than 2 percent according to the latest report, released yesterday. Business investment has now declined for two straight quarters, dragging down economic growth. And the federal deficit exceeds $1 trillion.

Anti trumper judge(and juror) not disclosing bias and mouthing off for years on twitter = conflict... not difficult to grasp

A plain lie, regurgitated through the swamp of right wing media, and now regurgitated here.

Top Defense official resigns at Trump's request

John Rood, the Pentagon's top policy official, had warned against withholding Ukraine aid

The Pentagon's top policy official who warned against withholding military aid to Ukraine last year resigned on Wednesday at the request of President Donald Trump, according to a copy of his resignation letter obtained by CNN.

John Rood, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy at the Pentagon, is the latest senior national security official involved in the Ukraine controversy to be forced out following Trump's acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial. but sources told CNN that he broke with the administration on several issues, in addition to the handling of aid to Ukraine, leading to a loss of support from leadership.

"It is my understanding from Secretary Esper that you requested my resignation from serving as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Senior administration officials appointed by the President serve at the pleasure of the President, and therefore, as you have requested, I am providing my resignation effective February 28, 2020," Rood wrote in his letter to President Donald Trump, dated Wednesday.

Here’s one example of the racial fear message we tested:

Our leaders must prioritize keeping us safe and ensuring that hardworking Americans have the freedom to prosper. Taking a second look at people coming from terrorist countries who wish us harm or at people from places overrun with drugs and criminal gangs is just common sense. And so is curbing illegal immigration, so our communities are no longer flooded with people who refuse to follow our laws. We need to make sure we take care of our own people first.

We asked people in a nationally representative sample of 2,000 whether they agreed with it using a 1-to-100 dial. Unsurprisingly, 72 percent of Republicans found this message convincing [rated it 51 or higher out of 100]. But we found that 52 percent of Democrats found this message convincing as well.

Roge Karma

The proportion of Democrats who found that narrative compelling is interesting in its own right. But what I found even more shocking was how people of color responded to the racial fear message.

Ian Haney López

Yes. Sixty percent of Latinos and 54 percent of African Americans found it convincing, which isn’t much lower than the 61 percent of whites who did.

Roge Karma

That finding seems to go against a lot of our presuppositions about how racism operates in politics. Why was this Trumpian narrative so compelling to everyone, including people of color?

Ian Haney López

The overwhelming majority of the people who respond positively to Trump’s racial messages do not hear them as expressions or endorsements of white superiority in the way that many progressives charge. That’s because Trump’s language is a form of racial dog whistling — using code to interject race into political conversations and trigger racist fears.

It’s very important to understand that Trump is building on a 50-year tradition. Dog whistling starts in the 1960s with language that is transparently supportive of segregation masked in the language of states’ rights. Later it becomes a way of talking about criminals versus the innocent, about lazy welfare cheats versus hardworking people, and citizens versus illegals. Underlying all of that rhetoric is a basic racist story that becomes widely accepted as a form of political common sense, even among many Democrats and people of color.

[Dog whistles] have become such a basic part of the American political and cultural fabric that they no longer operate like a “secret handshake” [as they did in the 1960s] in which Donald Trump says something racist and his supporters know he means something racist but publicly deny it. Dog whistling today is like a used-car fraud. Donald Trump is peddling a story that he pretends is about common sense and patriotism and taking care of deserving people. And people don’t know that what they’re buying into is a racist story.

Majority of whites/Latinos/blacks agree with Trump's racial messaging. People with TDS not going to like this yo!

Julian Assange claims that in 2017, Trump offered him a presidential pardon in exchange for him to publicly state that Russia had not been behind the hacking of the Democrat emails.

I believe this. Trump is a corrupt president and an enemy of truth. Truth is light; Trump is darkness.
