Yeah, but that is more than the previous Republican candidate got in terms of non-white votes.

Who knows why Trump appealed to white voters? The thing is, it might have less to do with race and more to do with American heritage and pride.

Also might have had something to do with the fact that he ran a racist campaign which he launched by calling Mexicans rapists and drug dealers, promised to build a wall between US and Mexico, and claimed that Muslims hated Americans and thousands of them cheered when the Twin Towers came down.

No dude, not at all... you said 'it really was' sexism that he won, ie, males voted for him, but your 'evidence link' shows he had 2% less same sex votes than hillary... so, more females voted female than males voted male... its your link showing it

Scroll down a bit to the race and gender numbers.

Among white voters, Donnie pulled 62/31 men vs women... Donnie's "base" is white men.

Sure, women vote for him too, but the demographic he relies on are those white men... Those white men who want to tell women what they can and can't do with their own bodies; those white men who want to end PP; those white men who don't want trans folk in the army or in bathrooms...

Also, tell me more about Access Hollywood.

And yet, 28% of Hispanic people voted for him. I don't know if we have stats for how many Middle Eastern people voted for him admittedly.

Also, what he said is xenophobic but not racist. A Hispanic person born in the States is not Mexican, and they don't stand accused of being a rapist.

Then tell me why nearly 3 out of 10 Hispanic people voted for him? That is a higher percentage of votes than the DA gets! And they voted for a "racist"!

I'd suggest you start looking at, "They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people" and “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on” for the answer to that.

Also, "American heritage and pride"?

Y'all know Donnie's grandad immigrated to the US in 1885, and his mother immigrated from Scotland in 1930?

... and "heritage" in this context is a pretty loaded word. Just ask the folk defending statues of treasonous filth Robert E Lee.

It's literally in the demographic breakdown of the voting results I posted, but, you know, be outraged or whatever.

Correct, its is in what you posted, but as I said, you showing us more sexist woman than men voted hillary(you made it about sex, and now race too)
52% of men voted man
54% of woman voted woman
Now you want to go race card... fine, them sexists by race
43% of white women are sexist and voted woman
94% of black woman are sexist and voted woman
69% of latino woman are sexist and voted woman

I'd argue they were voting for the candidate they felt would best represent them as POTUS. In 2016 it happened to be a woman.

I'd argue it was empowerment.

You want to argue it's sexism, well then, that's all on you.

women vote hillary its 'empowerment'

Wow
Ancalagon - There were real reasons why Trump won, and sexism wasn't one of them.
You - Oh it was, it really was.

Oh, I see.

You're uncomfortable with me making a distinction between men voting for a candidate with three wives, all of whom he cheated on, the 'grab 'em by the p***y guy, the blood coming out of her wherever guy, the "horseface" guy, the "dog" guy, the deny, deny, deny and push back on these women guy, the if she weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her guy, and...

... the woman who wanted to expand women's rights, the equal pay for equal work woman, the raise minimum wage woman, the universal preschool woman.

Yeah, no. I'm totally comfortable with it.

You're not getting it.

A Hispanic person living in the States is not a Mexican. You can only call yourself a Mexican if you were born in Mexico or your parents were. But plenty of Hispanic people live in the USA - in fact I think Texas used to be part of Mexico.

So the point is, what he said was offensive because it was xenophobic, but it wasn't racist.

Mexican is not a racial group.

This is a terrible argument. Hispanics are considered a racial group:

And even if you want to insist that they are not, functionally Trump's xenophobia is identical to racism.

Yes, and I never said they weren't!

FFS, can you people read?

Not all Mexicans are Hispanics.

Not all Hispanics are Mexicans.

Now read my posts again.

Trump made statements about Mexicans, not Hispanics.

Everything is racist to the progressives, because their entire worldview is decided by race and identity politics.

You can take almost any item of the news, and there is a pretty good chance that some progressive lobotomite has stated how it is racialised.

For example, something like math, is considered racist by morons in power because they falsely think the following:
Definition of theme: Power and oppression, as defined by ethnic studies, are the ways in which individuals and groups define mathematical knowledge so as to see “Western” mathematics as the only legitimate expression of mathematical identity and intelligence. This definition of legitimacy is then used to disenfranchise people and communities of color. This erases the historical contributions of people and communities of color.

You want the identity politics and affirmative action, you throw your lot in with people who think teaching kids long division the "western way" is racist.

No, you clearly don't see. Your TDS is blinding you to your own argument. Crying sexist man, cos all trump voters can't be anything but, and you provide stats that show the opposite, yet when called on it you just double down and throw in race, crying sexist white man and say your not arguing sexism. Hillary lost, get over it.

Most Americans Will Likely Be Exposed to Coronavirus, Republicans Told

A member of Congress who attended the closed-door briefing where the assessment was made called the prediction “sobering.”

Last week, Republican members of Congress heard a sober warning in a closed-door briefing on Capitol Hill: There’s a good chance most people in the United States will eventually be exposed to the novel coronavirus, according to one former official.

The assessment, from a former White House public-health official who now works in the pharmaceutical industry, did not suggest that most people will become infected or ill—rather, just that most will encounter the virus, which has killed at least two dozen Americans and infected hundreds more.

Not all public-health experts share that view. And not everyone exposed to the virus will become infected. Still, the briefing highlighted the potential gravity of the growing crisis.
