Nah, come on man, this is a worldwide phenomena. If it was just in America you might have a case to make, but as is unless Trump secretly created and released Corona, the level of market devastation can't be laid at Trump's feet. Don't get me wrong though, the market will react to how he handles the situation (testing kits, etc.) as well but the magnitude of this collapse is not Trump's fault.
Like I said "partly" responsible. Measures that he could have done that could have slowed the fall, like early quarantines, testing and so on could have alleviated the fall.

But, if Trump wants full credit for gains (even though he is also only partly responsible) then he must take credit for the falls. HE established these rules. Live by the sword, then die by the sword.

TDS has reached all time highs. Seen some serious insanity from people here to a point for first time I now use ignore list, we've seen the true quality of individuals over last few days. People celebrating the market dumping as they've wanted since trump took office... but they forget they're celebrating their own hard times, all the people dying round them, and if the virus continues for a few months, still to come is all the job loses, houses lost etc etc, everyone will lose a family member or more to this, here in good old SA we're proper farked. They think US health care is unprepared and can't handle it cos 'but mah trump', news flash, no country in the world has a health care system to handle it, and they aint seen nothing yet when roll on effects hit us, US will look godly and unscathed by comparison to most. But when it hits them, and their family members are dying, and they lose their jobs, we'll see the celebration continuing in their eyes... careful what you wish for and all that ;)

What's even worse is your refusal to criticize Trump's handling of the crisis in any way. Cyril Ramaphosa is being reamed for his response and it hasn't been nearly as bad. We expect our leaders to provide calm, expedient and serious responses to crises. Trump has been treating this whole thing like a personal PR mission - downplaying it, accusing Dems or foreign countries, lying about basic key facts with serious consequences, refusing to take any responsibility for actions taken by his administration, and actively manipulating the market then crowing about it. It's galling.

He's trolling you.

No, he is a narcissist. He fixates on the 2000 point rise, amidst the 8000 point drop, as evidence of his power to move markets, and he feels the need to reinforce this detail by literally adding his monstrous signature to it.

Noted socialist, Mitt Romney, is calling for every American adult to get $1000 immediately, to meet short term obligations.

While the WH is working on a deal to redistribute wealth to the airlines.

Let's look back at some of the hideously irresponsible rhetoric from the right over the last few weeks:

NEWT GINGRICH (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR) I think the great irony of all of this is that the city of San Francisco, in its usual irresponsible way, has already declared an emergency even though no one in San Francisco has so far shown that they have the disease. And ask yourself this: If you've got 40 or 50,000 homeless people, how are you going to quarantine them? What are you going to do in San Francisco?

NEWT GINGRICH: I AM IN ITALY AMID THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS. AMERICA MUST ACT NOW—AND ACT BIG | OPINION

"Eating with my kids and all my fellow Oklahomans at the @CollectiveOKC. It's packed tonight!"

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, who faced swift backlash since tweeting a photo of himself and his children at a crowded restaurant Saturday, declared a state of emergency on Sunday as the state announced its eighth case of coronavirus.
