And where did you pull that gem from - your behind no doubt. It's times like these where capitalism just doesn't work.
Dealing out free money to the citizens is necessary even if you disagree with socialism. It has nothing to do with suddenly turning into a progressive. Surely you can see this, or you just looking to run your mouth with zero substance behind it.

It's like any other crisis like, WW2 for instance, things change, but they go back to normal when the virus is done away with. Surely you can see this???

Make no mistake if Trump suddenly decided to try and ban guns for instance or become pro abortion the right would drop him like a stone.

The only difference between now and "normal" times is that you and your economic class is now under financial duress. And now all of a sudden you want meh socialism.

But what about all the people who are constantly under financial duress even during normal times? Nooooo they mustn't get help that's communism.

The... whole.... world....could go under.

These are unique times like WW2. America hasn't suddenly transformed into a socialist state you ninny. When the virus is gone things will go back to normal.

That doesn't mean capitalism is perfect, it's not, and the US is not a perfect example of capitalism, but it's certainly better than socialism, and is the best system we've got and has proven so over the history of mankind. That's why it is the system that most countries use. You want to ask the USSR how things are going today, oh right they collapsed and are now Russia, a capitalist state. Wake up you're living in a dream world.

I don't regard South Africans who support Trump, as enablers of his, but I do have a poor opinion of their character. I do however consider Americans who support him, as enablers of his, and accomplices to certain of his acts. Trump is guided by opinion polls. The fact that 95% of Republicans support him, sends him the message to keep on doing what he does.

Trump critics won't refuse treatment. If chloroquine proves to be of use in the treatment of coronavirus, it won't be Trump who saved the world. Trump did not discover this. Scientists and doctors who have expertise in the treatment of this, and other, coronavirus strains, have known all along that chloroquine might be of use. It was they who told Trump of it. They would have done trials on COVID-19 patients anyway.

Now if chloroquine does prove to be of use, Trump will claim that it's all due to him, that he saved the world, as you put it. And if it turns out to not be of use, he'll downplay this fact and re-tweet anecdotes of folks who had COVID-19 and took chloroquine and recovered uneventfully (as 80% of patients do anyway) in support of his hunch that chloroquine may cure COVID-19.
