If Trump says the sky is blue, and The Guardian says the sky is blue, the Guardian cannot then turn around and say that Trump is wrong about the sky being blue. Get it? If two parties agree on the same set of facts, either both of them are right or both of them are wrong.

Consequently, if Trump says that the length of the lockdown must be balanced with the negative consequences it has on the economy as well as mental health, if other people start saying the same thing despite previously attacking Trump for saying so, either they are both wrong or they are both right.

Those who were critical of Trump's stance on the lockdown, but later said similar things, should have the decency to acknowledge that Trump was right in the first place.

But of course they won't, since they suffer from TDS.

So pick one. Either climate change is not measurable over a small period of time (which I think is the correct view on it), or its effects are measurable over a small period of time, which allows you to attribute weather events to it.

I agree with you. I found that by conflating of the Ausie fires with climate change was a misguided tactic to draw out an emotional reaction to the problem of climate change.
