I forgot one
TDSers: Trumps gonna use defense production act to cancel election and take over private companies for himself and become dictator for life
Trump: I don't need to
Also TDSers: Why aren't you using defense production act to take over private companies and speed up the manufacturing
Trump: I don't need to

So Kelly Loeffler attended a Covid briefing on the 24th of January. A Friday.

Markets opened again on Monday the 27th... and... Exactly thirty days later, on February 26th, Kelly and her husband's first Intercontinental Exchange stock sale happened... Around $18,7 million worth.

Fun fact: Jeffrey Sprecher, Kelly's husband and CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange, is required to lock in Intercontinental Exchange stock sales... thirty days in advance.

They filed additional disclosures yesterday.

Where's my asset manager, and knower of how share portfolios work, @Pegasus at?

Hey buddy, this looks bad.

You sure you don't want to take another run at this post?

Its explained if you read the thread.

She has a $500 million portfolio sounds like full discretionary mandate.
So likely just a smear here. She should be able to clear it up easily enough.

Still looks fine to me.

What is your problem?

What is your problem?

You're not my asset manager or knower of how share portfolios work, so no problem for me at all.

Kelly also sold retail store stock and bought stock in a company that makes PPE... If she looks fine to you, perhaps a new career in fast-food delivery would be a better fit for you.

Ok. So you don't see anything then.
Cool.

Do you have a statement of her current holdings and her trades over the last year?
From looking at that statement, I'd think she'd better of buying a NASDAQ index fund.

Pretty sure the SEC does.

Also, what she does now has no bearing on what she did in February and March.

Why did the US NOT promote the use of face masks?

Because the Orange Fuhrer and his goons were caught with their pants down.

Asia may have been right about coronavirus and face masks, and the rest of the world is coming around

In the coming weeks, if they have not already, your government is likely to begin advising you to wear a face mask to protect against coronavirus.

For those living in Asia, such announcements will be a vindication of a tactic that has been adopted across much of the region since the beginning of the crisis and appears to have been borne out by lower rates of infection and faster containment of outbreaks.

If you have a one year statement you'd be able to show what the portfolio turns on average.

A statement of current holdings would be handy so you can see how the weights of the shares changed in the portfolio. She seems to have a crapload of counters in there. If you have more than 20, then you need to think about rather getting an Index fund.

As a fund manager you need to have a little write up for every trade you do with a client's money and provide monthly or at least quarterly feedback as to your strategy. So I imagine that info will be provided.

If she had sold out a huge chunk of her equity portfolio and bought cash / gold etc. then it would be suspicious.
Huge in her case would be $100 million plus.

At asset managers here you normally have to put in a request with compliance before you do a personal trade. Interesting that over there it seems they can trade and must declare it within 30 days.

That other senator may be in trouble.

So here is an on-topic question for everyone

Do you think Covid-19 will improve Trump's chance for re-election or decrease it?

I think it has improved them slightly. But despite that, the manner in which the US recovers from C-19 will be whether he wins or not.

The bounce won't last. There are already indications - the curve has flattened- as it were.

And I agree, the virus will decide who the next POTUS is. Deaths and the financial recovery... all virus related.

He's already fired almost every bullet in his financial recovery gun and...

... Setting up rubes to think 100 000 deaths is a "good job" just writes the attack ads for Dems.

"100 000 deaths under DJT, that's more than 30 times all the 9/11 deaths. Vote Blue"

"100 000 deaths under DJT, that's two times the number of American boys who died in Vietnam. Vote Blue"

"Yo! Republicans. 100 000 deaths under DJT is 25 000 times more than the number of folk who were killed in Benghazi. Vote Blue"
