She will be in the news again this week for all the wrong reasons. Another outburst, hurling insults at the umpire causing drama...

Sound familiar? Two years ago she did the same thing threatening the lineslady after calling her a foot fault.

This is Serena Williams, the worst sportsman in the world. The little respect I had after the previous incident, is now gone.

You stupid bitch, you deserve to lose... Let's see....

Well done Sam Stosur!!!! :D

+1 Williams had plenty chances to make good. She could have apologized to both her opponent and umpire immediately after the incident, but she didn't. And then she didn't shake the umpires hand after the match.

Fortunately there are still some sportspeople who can show sportsmanship and they deserve respect. A person such as Williams deserves only derision.

Bad call by the empire but I don't think Serena Williams was going to win regardless, she even admitted this herself in the interview(usopen.org)

Lol this is what the USTA loves though, the drama, the youtube views and all the sports news picking on this is EXACTLY what they want. They will not suspend Serena, they can't afford to lol!

** I say it is a bad call because in that situation she should have just gave Serena a warning, or a code violation. To actually give a point and give a break to the opponent just ruined the entire match and the NY fans let that empire have it lol, I don't think we will be seeing her in NY anytime soon ;)

Great game by Sam, she has the power to over-power Serena and she has beaten her before so I was not surprised, if anyone in the WTA can bench/over-power Serena, it's Sam Stosur.

What empire?

Like Tiger Woods, when things don't go your way you lash out at people. Why do some people think they are bigger than the game? We have had a few of them here in South Africa too.

I dont agree. Serena screamed "come on" while the point was still active. This prompted the chair umpire to intervene (not at Sam's request). The chair umpire clearly said replay the point, to which Serena surrendered the point in "good sportsmanship"

Unless I totally wasnt listening correctly...

Sereman then got the warning for verbally ubusing the chair umpire.

All in in, glad she lost. She should get susspended for bring the game into disrepute

ok my bad I got it wrong
