Omarosa Manigault Newman secretly recorded Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson appearing to admit that a tape exists of President Trump using the N-word during his days as a reality TV personality.
In the recording obtained by CBS News on Tuesday, the pair, along with two other campaign officials, discuss how to handle the fallout from the tape's potential release.
The audio recording of the alleged 2016 conference call matches a phone conversation that Manigault Newman describes in her new book.

“I am trying to find at least what context it was used in to help us maybe try to figure out a way to spin it,” Pierson can be heard saying on the tape.
In response, Lynne Patton, an erstwhile wedding planner and Trump family friend who was appointed to a top official in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, tells the others that she asked Trump about the tape.
“I said, ‘well, sir, can you think of anytime that this might have happened,’ and he said, ‘no,’ ” she says.
"Well, that is not true,” Manigault Newman responds.
After some back-and-forth, Pierson appears to come to the realization that then-candidate Trump may have used the offensive word.
“He said. No, he said it. He is embarrassed,” she replies.
