Can we just all agree that rampant statism is bad for everyone? :p
Define rampant. Obviously we need state healthcare, education, transport, welfare... The state is needed to protect people against themselves and to do that they need plenty of nanny-state laws and the police force to enforce those laws. They need plenty of administrators and bureaucrats. Also minimum wages and then government jobs for unemployed people.

I suggest you educate yourself
I already have, but feel free to follow your own advice:
https://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005204
In the first two years of his chancellorship, Hitler followed a concerted policy of "coordination" (Gleichschaltung), by which political parties, state governments, and cultural and professional organizations were brought in line with Nazi goals. Culture, the economy, education, and law all came under Nazi control.

Hell just google "Gleichschaltung" and open your eyes.

Can we just all agree that rampant statism is bad for everyone? :p
Amen, but then you'd appear to be claiming you're a libertarian and/or centrist and that does not compute in this thread ... :sneaky:

These guides also often unnecessarily gender body parts as being “male parts” and “female parts” and refer to “sex with women” or “sex with men,” excluding those who identify as nonbinary. Many individuals don’t see body parts as having a gender — people have a gender.

And as a result, the notion that a penis is exclusively a male body part and a vulva is exclusively a female body part is inaccurate. By using the word “parts” to talk about genitals and using medical terms for anatomy without attaching a gender to it, we become much more able to effectively discuss safe sex in a way that’s clear and inclusive.

For the purposes of this guide, we’ll refer to the vagina as the “front hole” instead of solely using the medical term “vagina.” This is gender-inclusive language that’s considerate of the fact that some trans people don’t identify with the labels the medical community attaches to their genitals.

The science loving left everyone. Medical facts are too politically incorrect for snowflakes...

While I admire your devotion to your cause, this has sweet **** all to do with a thread on "U.S. Politics"

If you want to rage against "Political Correctness", why not do it somewhere else, where someone might give a **** about your opinion? Maybe, just maybe, you could do so without cherry-picking a particularly silly example and then ascribing those silly ideas to the "science loving left" in its entirety?

I know you can, Konfab. I know you can.

The phrase is rubbish and meaningless, Yes, "Political Correctness", as used by the majority of people, has no relevance to actual politics - except as a whipping boy for the alt-right.

Which includes you, so I don't mind that you don't understand.

It is indicative of how science and its terminology is getting sidelined because of politics. This is a website that is meant to be giving out medical advice to the public and it is disregarding scientific terminology.

Your rambling started off insane, now it is just getting silly. As if US politics, regardless of affiliation, don't harp on, and even set policy direction, based on political correctness.

They have laws to penalize the "incorrect" use of pronouns for whatever BS gender someone wants you to use.
Gender diversity policies and requirements are set by politicians.

Examples like that are legion, where politics and political correctness are inextricably linked. To imply it is off topic in a US politics thread is the equivalent of claiming the sun won't rise tomorrow. Lay down the crack pipe, it's bad for you mkay.

I know you can, Konfab. I know you can.

By "****" do you mean, front hole and protruding stick penetration

Somewhat like the right wing climate change denial, then?

There is an interesting paper on this effect.

Conservatives actually report greater trust than liberals in production scientists,^ whose work focuses on invention and innovation for the sake of economic production. So, for example, liberals have greater trust in climatologists who study climate change and pollution, whereas conservatives have greater trust in food and materials scientists. This raises the possibility that contemporary conservatives are not opposed to, or skeptical of, science per se. Rather, they lack trust in impact scientists whom they see as seeking to influence policy in a liberal direction.

Imo it is more the distrust in the proposed solutions to climate change than the actual effect. The lack of a drive to switch over to nuclear power to curb emissions for example is the perfect example of this.

That argument cuts both ways:
- he had an alliance with socialists because it was convenient
- he tried to join a socialist party before forming another quasi-socialist party only to trick the people away from communism
- socialism has failed in every country it has ever been tried in only because they did it wrong

vs

- he aligned with socialists because he was a socialist
- he wanted to join a socialist party because he was a socialist
- socialism always fails because the ideology is inherently wrong

The truth is somewhere in between I reckon, in this case: fascism is so similar to socialism, which in turn is very similar to communism that there isn't much value in distinguishing the one from the other. The only value whatsoever would be for leftists who wish to disassociate themselves with those horrible lefty ideologies.
Or none of that, for the stated reasons I posted, which are documented by Hitler and his sub-ordinates, such as Albert Speer.

There's a brown elephant in the room.

Filed 2014, gained class action status in 2017. The Trump University lawsuit was filed in 2013 but it was only finalized in March 2018. These things take time, you know, like the Mueller probe.

Recap of the last two pages of this thread: MyBB GOP apologists have no argument against the fact that the GOP has literal Nazis running on their ticket, so they attempt to move the goalposts by once again trying to claim that Nazism is socialism thus the left is just as bad.

Seriously, you braindead cretins, you've tried this idiocy god knows how many times... nobody capable of logical thought bought it the first time, nobody capable of logical thought is buying it this 20 millionth time, nobody capable of logical thought is ever going to buy it. So stop wasting our time with your inability to formulate the most basic of rational arguments, and maybe consider learning a new tune to add to your worn-out playbook.
Shame, are you still using the long discredited tactic of telling others how stupid they are AND telling them they should get better arguments? Please don't ever stop;):D:ROFL:

No, the problem is that tariffs are a bad idea that never works. They had to give out $12 billion in aid for farmers whose businesses were doing just fine before the tariffs kicked in. Are they just going to keep handing out relief packages for industries that are hurting because of a problem that they created, which never needed to exist in the first place?
Tell that to the Chinese with a straight face.
